You're Mine

"Y/n? Are you alright?" Hideki looks worried, seeing you walk into class with a limp.

You turn a tired gaze to him. "My husband was being rough when consummating our marriage."

He gives you a pained expression. "Ah. Are - does it still hurt?"

"My husband was on the couch and made me breakfast in bed. I passed out hard and couldn't walk this morning."

He purses his lips. "Are you and your husband not speaking?"

"He's apologizing profusely. I'm still getting 'I'm sorry' texts as we speak."

Hideki blinks a few times. "I see. Are you mad at him?"

You shake your head. "Not at all. But the thought of him running around like a puppy over thinking I'm upset with him amuses me."

He chuckles. "Well, as long as you're alright. You know... it's probably not my place to say any of this, but come to me if he ever treats you bad. I still like you, and I'd love to help whenever you're in need. If anything goes wrong in your marriage, if you feel unsafe, come find me. I'll protect you."

Your eyes widen for a split second. "I'll keep that in mind."

"We work in the same place and go to school together. It shouldn't be too hard to find me. You - you still have my number, right?"

You nod. "Of course. Speaking of work, how is it at the hospital?"

Hideki looks away. "The trauma ward is difficult, but I don't think I'd fit in if I tried transferring to the maternity ward. I think I might try to go for the psych ward or something. Maybe pediatrics. What do you think?"

You blurt out your answer without giving it a thought. "Pediatrics."

His eyes widened. "Oh. Um, ok. Yeah! I can do that. Any reason why?"

You open your mouth, but nothing comes out. You look down. "If I have kids, I'd like it if someone I know and am comfortable with were there for them."

"Are - are you... would you know if you're pregnant?"

You give an awkward smile. "I think it's too soon. I was gonna wait until something felt off to check. But, you and Yumi will definitely be the first people I tell when I find out."

Hideki gives a soft smile. "Glad to know you'd tell me big news before your husband."

You shrug, grinning. "I mean, I'd rather plan a huge surprise for Sukuna when I find out."

He rubs the nape of his neck. "So, uh, would it be weird to hug?"

"I don't see why not." You hug the boy, letting him wrap his arms around you.

"You go on a honeymoon, and when you come back you're hugging another man?! I need to tell Geto!"

You move away from the boy, glaring at your best friend. "Don't you dare, Yumi. It's normal to hug friends."

The strawberry blonde girl shrugs. "I guess. But you're husband is the overprotective and super jealous type. I don't think he'll be fine with it."

You roll your eyes. "He put himself in the doghouse. I think it'll be a while before he tries being in control of what I do."

Yumi takes a good look at you. "Ya look like shit."

"Gee, thanks, bestie."

She grins. "Busy honeymoon?"

You scoff. "You have no idea. But the hardest part was last night. He was so rough that he slept on the couch and has been apologizing and kissing up to me all day."

"Ooo! I need the details."

"I'm not talking about my sex life!"

Your best friend frowns. "Boo. I really wanted to know what happened this time. Oh, are you preggo?"

"It's too early to tell."

"Symptoms can show up as soon as the next day in some cases. It doesn't take a week for the sperm to fertilize the egg. It only takes a few minutes. By next week, you'll be feeling something. Unless -" She gasps. "You don't think he's sterile."

You sigh, too tired for this. "Doubt."

"You right. He's way too young and in too good a shape to be sterile."

Hideki just blinks, looking somewhat uncomfortable. "You know, there are ways to find out. We work at a hospital. If my information is right, there should be a fertility section either in or near the maternity ward. If you want to find out, you can always go there. It shouldn't be too hard since you work there. The hard part will be getting your husband to go."

"I just need a sperm sample, right? That shouldn't be too hard. I can get a cup from the hospital and sneak a sample away from him."

Yumi gets interested. "How ya gonna pull that off?"

You make a gesture with your arm. "Find him when he's out cold and jerk him off. Worst case scenario, he's either not asleep or wakes up and catches me."

The male nurse looks at you curiosly. "What are you gonna do if he catches you?"

"Uh... be honest? What do I say when I'm clearly jerking him off with a medical cup in my hand?"

"Good point."

Yumi sighs. "Well, good luck with that. We have a shift tonight. Man, it's gonna suck."

"I'm looking forward to it. I've had over a week off because of the wedding and honeymoon. I could use some hours of work."

Hideki chuckles. "Maybe I should walk with you two today. It's been so long since we spent time together."

You nod. "Sounds good. Maybe we can all leave together too. It would be nice to get dinner with you, Hideki."

He beams at you. "I would love to join you for dinner, Y/n."

Yumi just looks between you two. "A smell the makings of an affair."

"Shut it, Yumi."

"You can't deny that you and Hideki have something going on. You always had chemistry." She wiggles her brows suggestively.

Hideki blushes. "Come on. You're just saying that. Y/n's married. There's no way we have anything going on."

"You never know. If she ever leaves Sukuna, I'll give you my blessing."

You smack her. "Don't act like my parent!"

Hiedeki just watches with a smile on his face. He murmurs under his breath, so quiet you don't hear. "I'm so glad I fell in love with you, Y/n."
