Amy & Ty's New Life. (Part 1 )

Chapter 13.

Later , about Lunchtime Amy sent Ty a message, *I'm not sitting here all day waiting for you, get your arse home now, we need to talk, actually I need to talk.
Ty was still sat at Calebs when his phone Pinged.
"I bet you that's Amy asking where you are."
Ty looked at his phone and nodded to Caleb.
"I'd better make a move and do some apologising, I always end up saying things without thinking Caleb."
"Well from what you told me, you don't give Amy the chance to actually tell you what she wants to tell you, So, keep ya mouth shut Ty and listen to what she says. You are going to destroy your marriage Ty, and you'll have no one to blame except yourself  mate. Get going."

Ty turned up and started saying a mantra in his head, ☆Keep my mouth shut, listen to her ☆. He kept repeating it to himself.
"Hi Love, I'm sorry for what I said."
"Thank you, but we have a problem Ty, you keep doing it. Tell me honestly Ty, do you trust me to be faithful to you."
Ty kept quiet not wanting to say the wrong thing, then realises the answer is yes.
"Yes, of course I trust you."
"Why the delay in answering Ty."
Again he's quiet, Amy can see he's getting confused, he's also overthinking everything.
"Ty, let's go for a drive, okay. Kayden get your shoes on were going out."
"Okay mama."

It wasn't long before they were at the Hospital and Amy made sure Ty was sat down and Kayden was with him.
She went to the reception desk and explained everything.
They were shown into a cubical and a Doctor entered.

Amy went through everything about last night and what happened an hour ago.
The attending Doctor checked Ty out and spoke to him to see if he was still acting weird.
"Okay Mrs Borden, your correct to be concerned,  your husband is showing signs of cognitive impairment. Is he like this all the time."
"No Doctor, we were talking last night, I'd made a lovely meal, my Sister was looking after Kayden our son and I was going to explain about why our son looks different,  I  recently found out my biological father is First Nation, so our son as he's getting older is changing. Now my husband knew all of this, but he interrupted me and just accused me of being unfaithful. Today we were once again starting to talk about DNA and Genetics and this is how he was acting. "
"Has anything like this happened before."
"Actually,  now that I think about it."
The Doctor listened as Amy went through Ty's actions from when he was about 17 yrs old while they were dating,  how he'd accuse her of things and arguments they had. How he'd say things without thinking and a few days or a week later he would apologise  etc.
The Doctor ordered blood tests and a brain scan just to be safe, then went and spoke to Amy and Ty. Kayden was playing with some toys in the adjoining room.
"Right Mr and Mrs......"
"Please call us Amy and Ty Doctor."
"Okay thank you, well I've ordered some blood tests for you Ty,  as  a
 Vitamin B deficiency could negatively influence your memory function, and cause cognitive impairment. The phlebotomy Dept will be with you soon."
As the Doctor was walking away he looked at Amy and gave her the Follow Me Look.
"Ty, I'm just going to the Ladies room,  won't be a minute."
"Err,  okay love."
Amy walked over to see what the Doctor wanted.
"Thank you Amy, I didn't want to say anything in front of Ty, and I don't want to scare you but I need to ask you a few questions.  When did you and Ty start dating. "
"I liked Ty when he came to work at our Ranch, I was 15 and he was 17."
"What was he like Amy, I mean did he lose his temper much, get angry or argumentative."
"Yes, it's a wonder we made it to getting married,  he always said things without thinking, hurtful things sometimes, as I said to you back there with Ty, yesterday he interrupted me while I was trying to tell him that our son would take after my father, because I recently found out my biological father was First Nation,  but before I could say that about our son he lost his temper and because Kayden looked slightly different, not much, he accused me of cheating.  That's the sort of things he does, but I love him so much and I know something is wrong Doctor."
"I've ordered a Brain scan because your right Amy, I think his actions are not right. I will let you know the results. Try not to get to upset, okay, we will find out. Did he ever tell you about his childhood."
"Yes."
Amy told him how he was beaten, punched, knocked about etc.
He went off to sort out the scan for Ty.
