23 years later, 2023.

I looked at the sky above me, it was nice to live in a forest that was peaceful when the threat of death wasn't looming right over my head. I stretched my metal bones and sighed, the birds chirping was a nice touch too. I knew I had duties to attend to but they all were just preparations for getting more alien planets to help aid me in the war, or helping the injured spies or soldiers. I had found out the hard way that I was in the middle of a war, caused because of me when I didn't even have my memories. Luckily I didn't learn the hard way I was a humanoid magic animatronic, Luciean and Lunara told me that before I found out on my own. But nothing about myself felt robotic, but now it didn't feel human either. Perhaps the problem was that my soul wasn't complete. Perhaps the witches had forgotten all about the side effects creating me and my siblings would have had. However, I was certain that having a full soul wouldn't fix much other than my selfish desires finally being completed.

I sighed and began to walk back to the grotto with two water pails in hand. Everyone had to start bringing water from the east instead of due west which was a quicker walk but since there were said to be human scouts that way they had to take the long route. Personally, I thought I walk right by them pretending to be a human, but then again humans don't wear the same, what would you call it? Fighting gear and armour, every day with the same jewelry and accessories and they didn't have small mechanical markings. I never understood humans and why they insisted on changing their appearance every day when if I were to change her outfit no one would recognize me, though at this point it was my fault. I was created to wear one outfit every day, the outfit was literally melded into my skin, I could only change some parts. So yes it was my fault.

I reached the path which was going to lead her back to Silken Haven but I decided I wanted a mental and physical break from things. I walked up to my alicorn, (alien creature) and hooked up the two water pails onto her saddle gear and spoke.

"Go back to the grotto and make sure the water gets delivered, find me at Silver Mist Waterfall when you're done." I brushed Celestara's mane and grabbed a basket off of her before she sent her off with a small pat.

She trotted off more quickly than usual since she wanted to get back to me as quickly as possible. I sighed and walked through the forest picking some fruits and healing herbs while doing so. I made her way to the Silver Mist Waterfall slowly but surely, the golden sunlight pierced through the canopy of the thick trees shining small sunbeams everywhere it could reach.

...

Eventually, there was a cave up ahead with vines blocking the entrance, I pushed past the vines and there it was, Silver Mist Waterfall, the moment I entered I felt a mist of water spraying on my face from the waterfall. The cave was completely an unrestricted place to hide out in, it was my personal favourite.

I sat next to the edge of the waterfall and stared at my reflection. I put my hand inches away from touching the water and stared before I splashed my face with the cold fresh water, then I proceeded to wash it. Luckily I was waterproof in all ways or else that could have ended badly. Water was also one of my favourite mysteries of the earth, how did it exist? Why did it exist? Why is it the meaning of life? Why did all living beings depend on it? I chuckled softly at my questions as I laid down and keep one hand in the water. I didn't mind my gloves getting wet, it was just life. Getting dirty rather than being careful with yourself.

I started processing how bad the situation was getting. If Fellion did succeed in the war he would enslave everyone, including me and Nellion. Sometimes I wished I knew where Esmeray went...if I knew he was alive or not it would solve so many worries, but knowing two out of the three siblings you're looking for are purely insane, makes you wonder if you want to meet the third one.
