I opened my eyes and groaned as I rolled around trying to ignore the harsh bright lights of the stars as Orbitos took a sharp turn, I sat upright and tried to get my eyes to light up to show I was awake. I gripped onto Orbitos's scales as he did a soft purr and slowed down as he looked up at me. I patted his back softly and stood up, I was but a mere ant compared to his size in all truth, but after twenty-three years of him making sure I stayed alive and taking care of me daily. I didn't even bother to be afraid or understand the fact he could crush me, he cared for me and I cared for him, there was no need to be afraid. I looked up and noticed he was flying closer to Earth but keeping his distance from all planets, I glared at him as I walked over to his head and bent down to look at him. He stared me straight in the eyes before he focused back on the solar system. I stood back up before adjusting my sight to withstand the bright light of the sun. I despised stars of any form, they were too bright for me and hurt my head, but I despised my battery usage even more. Every night I was meant to charge, to be on my best behaviour but I could go a week without it, as long as I didn't use my powers, but still it was a nuisance. I sat down on Orbitos back and laid down a bit to make sure I wouldn't fall off, he moved side to side a bit making sure I was steady before he launched himself straight toward a planet, he twirled around it before doing a small purring sound and jumping upwards a bit trying not to cause a ruckus. He loved this day, whatever this day was, he wasn't speaking to me at the moment but for the past week, he was speaking to me through my mind and wouldn't stop yammering about how excited he was to do a fly-through the planets so they could see and worship him. I personally didn't find the appeal and I didn't want him to rocket-launch himself while I barely held on, and he said I was the one being a nuisance since I was 'unable to have fun'. How stupid! I have fun- well...sometimes, I stretched one of my hands out, reaching for the stars and the planets as he sped up a bit seeing how I was enjoying this. I was glad robots couldn't throw up or else I would have twenty-three years ago. I stared up before checking my battery percentage, I should have at least three days before I had to charge but I still hated it, it was an annoying useless thing, luckily I found a way to use star power to charge myself but it's not recommended...and it would cause glitches but my body was used to it after twenty-three years. I stretched both my hands out before I fell backwards on Orbitos and yawned, I loved seeing the planets and stars as much as Orbitos but I found sleep much more fun. Nellion was probably exhausted seeing me every day, frankly, she hasn't made me have a nightmare in awhile. All I usually dream about is floating in space or lying in the forest, and now thinking about it I haven't been on Earth in a while...I only go down if the spies I hired tell me they need me asap, but they still email me daily updates, from little things to the biggest things. It was helpful so that I didn't have to spend time on Earth but also so that my siblings still think I'm dead, well other than Fellion, he tried killing me which was why I escaped in the first place. I couldn't even believe that he was attempting a murder this whole time but only attempted it after the witches were dead...I couldn't believe it! How could that have slipped past me? I sighed and turned sideways, a loud sound in my head cut my thoughts off.
"What are you thinking of?" Orbitos said clear as day, I shuddered softly, his voice rattled my head. "What are you thinking of Esmeray." He said in a sterner tone. I sat up straight before replying, my pupils turned into '!' marks as I shook my head to return them back into star and moon signs.
"Uhm- nothing I was just daydreaming about the stars...."
"Don't lie. Am I untrustworthy?" His voice rattled my thoughts and I almost forgot to reply.
"I'm- no-. I promise you're trustworthy-. S-sorry...you just caught me off guard, I was just thinking about the festival. Why's it so important to you again?"
Orbitos scoffed at me as he turned to fly on his back as he pushed me to lie on his stomach, "It's important so that people know I own them. And so that people remember what I did to claim this galaxy as my own." He stared at me straight in the eyes before continuing. "You do remember what I did, yes?"
