Castle and the Secret ??

Elena pov...

I get a call at 7:40am from Espo saying that we have a case.
I get up and met him at the scene, the M.E. introduced herself to me as Lanie. She told me that the victim was a Gregory Chase, 37 year old male from New York, TOD between 9 and 11 last night, gunshot to head with a 32.

Espo, Ryan and I go back to the precinct to find out more information on him. Ryan finds out that he was a owner of an insurance company-Towers insurance, he had a wife Amanda and ten year old twin girls.

Espo sets up the murder board with the information we have so far while we wait for the wife to come in.

When she arrives Ryan and Espo take her into the interrogation room while I watching from the viewing room.
She has motive as she would get lots of money from his death but claims she was at the twins school production last night until 10:30 before taking the twins home.

I go back out into the bull pen and find out if her story is true, it claims to be so I call the school and talk to a teacher who saw Amanda there the entire time.
Ryan and Espo come out of the interrogation room and I tell them that her alibi checks out, they release her and tell her to call if she has any information.

While Ryan and Espo go to get a drink I research Towers insurance company and find Gregory's work partner Colin Harrison and also find that another work mate Mark Frewin would take over the company from Gregory.
When they get back I tell them what I found, we leave and go to talk to them at work.

We talk to Colin first and he didn't know that Gregory was dead, when we asked about his relationship with others at work he said that Gregory and Mark were fighting two days ago. I thanked him for his time and went to find Mark.

When we got to Mark's office nobody was there, Espo put out a bolo on him so that he will be found faster.

When we get back to the car we get a call that Mark is at a gas station 5 minutes down the road. We head there and arrest him.

When we get back to the precinct and he is put in interrogation, Mark confesses to murdering Gregory as he was in debt and needed the money.

Espo, Ryan and I work on some of the paperwork that needs to be finished for this case before going home. We finish are waiting for the day to follow finish when two people walk out of the elevator. Espo calls out to them "hey Beckett, hey Castle".

I introduce myself to them as Elena the new intern and then when Castle is talking to Ryan and Espo I turn to Beckett and say to her "we need to talk, in private"
