Uzi was walking around outside after school bored as hell then she comes across a strange gadget, she knew she shouldn't pick up random things without knowing their intended use but she figured if it kills her, ...it kills her

She picked it up and began inspecting it, she wasn't able to tell what it was, but it was silver and had patterns.. not like that helped trying to figure out what it was exactly, the patterns seem to resemble feathers? It was weird so she tossed it aside and noticed blue ooze on her hands “the fuck?” She then looks back at it “of course I touched a random thing on the ground leaking blue ooze, so smart Uzi” she tells herself, internally scolding herself “Well at least nobody was here to see this, if I did No one will even remember my name.” She sighed, before using the snow to wipe the ooze off which left a little stingy feeling in her metal flesh, “that's..so weird..” she murmured to herself,

So she began walking back until she collapsed, everything faded until she opened her eyes to see a murder drone standing over her, she tried to scream but all that came out was a caw from her new beak, her feathers ruffled in distress as she tries to run away but fell flat on her face with a quiet thud “aww you poor little guy let me help” he spoke ‘did this idiot call me a guy!? Well it's not like he can check It would be weird if he did..’
“V lookie!” he ran over to the female murder drone who glanced over “it's a bird what about it?” She rolled her eyes but deep down she thought it was kinda cute and surprised to see one still alive,
“Can we keep it?? Pleaseeee” “fine but knowing you I'll take care of it” V scooped the bird (uzi) in her hands, the bird looked up at V it's tiny chest heaving slightly,

Holy crap they can talk, wait-! Are they keeping me as a pet!? Nah!! Though they are weirdly hot

The bird's feathers fluffens as it flutters it's wings “can't you fly little buddy?” N tilted his head curiously as if Uzi could answer back, if she could she would, she didn't even know how to fly and was helpless against a bunch of drones that could kill her with one lazy swipe of their claws…

Back to the pod V placed the bird down, letting it wonder around “so how did it survive without being able to fly?? Especially in this cold?” V huffed “maybee It's mutated!” N tried to suggest, “I can't decide if it's the most unlikeiest bird or it's the luckiest bird alive” V answered back, leaning back in the chair she sat in, meanwhile Uzi aka the bird hopped off the control panel attempting to flap her wings but fell down with a splat, she let out a soft squeak in pain, V quickly sat up faster then N and picked Uzi right back up and held her close “ah dummy.. trying to fly without guidance” the bird pokes it's beak at her arm as if to protest, “I guess they didn't like my nickname” “how do we know if it's a boy or girl?” V asked “definitely not checking a bird,” “maybe till she or he does something to prove it's gender?” “We will worry about that later,”

Hours had gone by and V was attached to the bird that was secretly Uzi, the door opens and J steps in “where did you get a live bird??” She asked looking puzzled “N found it passed out in the cold” V replied “surprised you didn't eat it” J shrugged and sat down, N sitting in a corner coloring a page on an old coloring book he found.

Uzi looks around at the drones, it was weird seeing them from this perspective, they talked, had names like she did, just taller and killers, J was kinda bitchy, N was kinda dumb but nice and V was sassy though it seemed like she had a soft spot for Uzi ‘thank robo Jesus I'm a bird otherwise they'd be eating me by now..’ Uzi thought to herself, maybe being a bird wasn't so bad if it saved her from a excruciatingly painful death,
Once the sun rose uzi had realized the murder drones would die in sunlight, kinda like vampires? So they were just robo vampires..
Uzi found herself huddled in the fur of V's jacket, she could have tried to find a way to escape but being held close…felt nice. In a way that made her feel wanted, she unknowingly felt so comfortable with this murder drone, she was also bitchy but sassy..but kinda nice whenever the other two weren't looking, V took care of Uzi and was seemingly affectionate with her, so she watches V go into sleep mode, and she too felt tired and drifted off to sleep with V stroking her feathers, letting out a content sigh.

Over a week uzi found herself being attracted to V romantically, which she knew was a bad idea, it was wrong, these things killed her mom, killed a lot of people from her colony, so she knew these feeling were wrong, but she couldn't help it, V wasn't making it any better being affectionate and protective over uzi even if she was a bird, It just felt nice to be cared for, was she so desperate for affection she fell for a literal killer because she gave her cuddles? Hell maybe she is and that's probably where her dad failed to parent her like he was supposed to, nope he loved his doors more then he liked uzi, at least that's how it felt to Uzi, one lazy night N and J were out hunting, V was all snuggled up on a makeshift bed holding uzi (the bird) close in her embrace, content with cuddling the bird, and uzi allowed herself to relax in V’s arms feeling safe and wanted then she has over felt in a long time, definitely depressing in her standards, unknowingly she shifted back in her drone form, her face buried on the fur of V's jacket, meanwhile V’s eyes widen, she was hugging a worker drone!? She had to kill Uzi! …Or did she? She was already attached to Uzi so freaking eating her felt..wrong, she didn't want to do it and was willing to fight J about it, N would just roll with it like he always did, It was just easier to convince N, So with a made decision, she snuggled closer to Uzi, not caring about what J thinks, uzi was hers, she wasn't gonna let some bitchy workaholic tell her what she can or cannot keep, ‘mine’ V thought to herself, she definitely wasn't gonna let anything happen to Uzi.
