Albus' pov:
I have had a feeling I was being watched from my 22nd birthday two weeks ago. I know someone is watching me but whenever I do any spell it shows nobody is there and I can't place who or what it is. It's not a disturbing feeling just a comforting feeling which is shocking. I have been staying home a lot recently as even if I don't feel in danger I can feel a hungry stare at me like they want my body.
Currently, I'm in my room reading a book on creatures and what mates are. I got to the chapter on vampires when I heard rustling outside my window. I figured whoever was there would just lurk there for a bit before heading home like usual so I ignored them. I read the next few lines about vampires. 'When they find their mates they won't approach but will watch from the shadows and ensure they are safe.' I got a weird feeling like that was correct but I didn't know how I knew that.
I decided to read the next paragraph to find out more, 'No magic can trace or find a vampire while they are lurking in the shadows as they are masters in illusions. Although their mate will feel their eyes and know that they are present. Many times the mate will feel as though there is a hungry stare being directed towards them." I continued reading and all the signs were similar to what I was feeling. 'Vampires have enhanced hearing and sight so their mates speaking aloud while they are close will allow the vampire to hear.' I glared at the page.
"You best walk in here and introduce yourself before I learn a few new spells on how to kill a vampire understand?" I questioned knowing whoever they were could hear me and within seconds there was a knock on my window. I slid it open and a beautiful boy around my age stepped in with a slight smile.
"I am Gellert Grindelwald, head of the vampire army It is a pleasure to get to introduce myself. We don't like to approach before our mates know of what we are capable of," he told me with a smile on his face he seemed so polite and respectful even though he'd been watching me at all points of the day.
"Yeah well, newsflash buddy I am a wizard! I know everything about vampires all I was doing today was rereading an old book I found in my library that I had forgotten about. I would prefer to know when you are around as I hate being watched." I told him receiving a nod of the head and an understanding look in his eyes.
"Sorry, I just well I don't have an excuse. I'll be better next time I promise, just don't reject me, please!" he begged and I looked at him before shaking my head with an eye roll.
"I am far from stupid plus you're adorable so I would be missing an opportunity if I rejected you so I accept just don't go back to stalking or I will hunt you down with a wooden stake understood?" I questioned receiving a quick nod before he kissed my cheek and hugged me tightly before jumping out of my window and running off. Silly little vampire!
