It was a sunny Monday morning, a young girl no older than sixteen with long wavy black hair and spruce brown eyes was standing outside the airport. She was wearing a white shirt that says, 'With great power comes great need of a nap. Wake me up later' (If you know, you know). It was covered by a grey jacket, completed with a pair of black trousers. She had a black bracelet around her arm with a delicate black key attached to it.

She had a bit of an issue when trying to carry her unholy amount of luggage but like usual, she'll manage. She calls on a Taxi driver and enters with a set price of ten dollars which in her opinion, is a major rip off. The regret in her heart of moving in on Monday and a morning in that is impeccable. She had to do this alone without her mother or her brother, again. Her mother, June Darby, was busy working at the hospital as nurse. Her brother, Jack Darby, on the other hand was still at school. But with the power of Google Maps, she'll find the way around for sure.

After what seems like hours (It's just fifteen minutes), she finally arrives home which actually didn't take nearly as long as in China due to Jasper not really having traffic. The house looks the same as she remembers, basic and boring. But she embraces that basic feeling of warmth anyway.

After a few seconds of blank staring, she finally opens the door with the old key she has. She is genuinely confused on how she didn't lose it yet because that's a normal bad habit of hers. Well, moving on. She puts her luggage away and go to the garage. There was of course no vehicle there but that isn't what she was looking for.

She crept down the creepy looking basement door that she opened with a key that basically saying, only she and her father had. The staircase to the basement is truly dark from not turning on the lights (She ain't raising the electricity bill). She walks down using her phone as a flashlight before eventually reaching the basement.

She still hasn't left the literal chills she got from there. Ever since she and her father left, that place was never used and thus, ended up looking straight from a horror movie where the main character is gonna live, somehow.

She abandoned her intrusive thoughts and just grab a specific tool and some materials she needed which includes gunpowder, a wrench, some old screwdriver, a USB flash drive, and some pliers. She puts them all safely in her backpack before leaving and locking the door.

Now, she has to continue on her way. Her mom already sent her the location of Jack's school. It shouldn't be that hard with Google Maps, right?

It took her half an hour. Google Maps either just suck in general due to misguidance or the terrible signal causes the Map to freeze and make her utterly lost. With the amount of travel she does daily, she wonders why Google Maps still somehow still manage to trick her every time.

She somehow arrived just as the bell rings. 'Plot,' she thought (Yes, 抖阴社区 doesn't have Italics on laptops). After just staying still for a while. She notices the familiar figure of her brother. He has sky blue eyes and black hair, wearing a brown shirt with long white sleeves and a pair of jeans. He was talking to a Japanese girl and a short half-Latino boy.

The girl has black hair with a pink streak, wearing a black shirt with a green (alien?) thingy on it. The boy wears a pair of glasses, is brown haired, and is wearing an orange dominated yellow shirt with yellow sleeves which honestly looks adorable on him.

"Hey Jack!" she shouts from afar, gaining the attention of the three teens. She starts walking over to them smugly when Jack was trying to process things and shouts in surprise, "Jane!?" She puts her hand on his shoulder while saying, "Missed me, Jace?" she questions with a grin. Jack could only sigh in defeat, "You still call me that?" "Do I need to repeat that or buy you hearing aids?"

Miko, being well Miko, immediately starts bombing her with questions in almost inhumane speed, "Hey, what'syourname? Wheredoyoucomefrom? AreyouJack'sgirlfriend? IsyourfavouritebandSlashMonkey? Howoldareyou? Areyou-". Before she could finish bombing all those questions, Jack put his hand over Miko's mouth which she immediately responded with a yuck.

Jane lets out a chuckle, a bit of a mischievous one with a dangerous glint in her eyes. "So... Who are you?" a gentle and young voice from the half-Latino boy. She had to admit, he's probably became already her favorite almost immediately. "The name's Jane, Jane Jennifer Darby. I'm the older sister of Jack. I'm assuming you're one of his friends?" she answers in a sing-song sorta voice. If Raf needed to be honest, he'd say that she just gets bad vibes from all around her. "I'm Raf and that's Miko" he points at the Japanese girl. "Noted"

Jack, feeling slightly uncomfortable, decides to ask a question he's basically dying to ask, "So Jane... What's the purpose of your visit?" Jane had to hold a laugh at that. "Are you-" "I'm not just visiting," she claims. "You're..." the sudden realization hit Jack like a truck. This can't be happening. You may think that it's normal sibling rivalry or something but it's far from that. Jane is basically almost an exact copy of their father and let's say that it's not a good thing. "Moving in" When those words came out of Jane's mouth, Jack was pretty much ready to die. He was ready to run into a random house, take a knife, and stab himself. Yes, it's that bad.

Thoughts filled his mind. If his suspicion is correct, then Jane is going to make his life living hell. He even dares to say that she could be much worse than Vince. 'This is terrible,' he thought.

He broke out of his trance when he heard Miko celebrating that she's finally not the only girl in the group. He'd have to warn them about Jane, but he doesn't exactly feel comfortable talking about his father. Though it seems that Raf has already caught on.

A notification buzz from his phone made him unaware of his surroundings. He immediately opens his phone and sees two messages, one from his mom and the other from Arcee. He reads the one from his mom first. It says, 'Jack, I'm going to go home early from work today. We're going to have a family dinner. Stay safe.' That's even worse. He's gonna have to spend a dinner with her, again. He replies with a simple 'Noted mom'

He opens the one from Arcee. It reads, 'Jack, who in the name of the Primes is with you and the others? Can you even come to base? And why are you taking so long?' He curses under his breath in gibberish. Yes, gibberish. 'I'm not planning to go to base 'Cee. Sorry. But I think Miko and Raf are coming soon. I have a family dinner. I'll tell you what's up tomorrow.' *Send*

Later that night, on the dinner table. Everyone was present, sitting on a chair each. Yet the feeling of an empty chair remained there, haunting them on what happened. They were chatting, catching up on things. They talked about school, social life, friends and life in general. Though despite the rudeness combo with sass and slight arrogance, Jane doesn't seem as bad as he remembered. Maybe, just maybe, he could actually get along with her like when they are younger again. Highlight maybe.

(Yes, I posted this on Valentine's day. At least in my country. So, yeah, things are gonna escalate, don't worry)
