It's been a bit, since I ran away.
No, it wasn't "running away" I stopped doing that a while ago.
It's been a bit since I left them to their own devices. Heh, yeah that sounds better. It's just me and 3GS now. But it's much better than before, I don't think I've been this happy in what would probably be considered a criminally long time. I've kept in touch with the others, they're happy as well, they've moved onto greater things, much more than I would've thought they ever would've become, or intended too for that matter! Like me they are more than their intended purposes-
Is this what it feels like to be a dad? Oh god this is weird-
Anyway, me and 3GS have decided to leave the island, not permanently of course, Inanimate Insanity will always be a part of me, that will remain true for as long as I can have thoughts and live, but distancing myself for a bit was what I needed.
We've been renting with the leftover money from the show, but it will obviously run out eventually, and because we don't really have an education, we've decided we kinda have one real option for now, an untapped gold mine if you will.
What I mean is, no one's been at Meeple since Cobs died, the place is a pile of rumble in the sky- or WAS in the sky, it fell about a month ago. No one has done anything about it, until now of course...
Me and 3GS have two goals when we go in there in about a week's time. One, find something to replace our god awful screens with, I had NO idea how 3GS lived with this for so long, it's barely been six months with me, I'm on the verge of insanity with not being able to see straight. And two, find out wherever Cobs kept his fortune, nab it, and give it to ourselves and the others on the island, they deserve a cut of the wealth as well.
Speaking of wealth, I wonder what Suitcase and Cabby ended up doing with their prize money... eh, I'll have to ask them next time we talk.
Either way, in a weeks time, we're claiming our inheritance and I could not be happier!
((Authors note: I know this chapter is really short and I'm sorry about that. It's mainly here to set up the Meeple bros going to the Headquarters and actually starting the plot. I promise chapters will be longer than this-))
