3rd Person POV

Spaceport

"Begin the assault."

Moving into a V-shaped formation in front of the three Dreadnoughts while the rest of the fleet spread out across the 'planet's' surface, nine Abyssal Warships trained their weapons on Spaceport's planet and took aim.

"Ma'am, we've located the power generator," one of the deck officers of the leading Warship reported, scanning the planet's defenses and determining its origin.

"Fire," the captain ordered, and blue energy crackled across the prow of the first Warship, condensing into a massive sphere of swirling light. A flash, and the ship fired, releasing a jet of energy that slashed through the planetary shield and into the planet's surface, unleashing a massive explosion that pulverized the entire mountain range where the generator was located.

With Cú Chulainn

"The shield's down," the captain of the first Warship reported, and the 7th General nodded, eyes focused on Spaceport as multiple Particle Barriers formed over the hangers.

"Fire."

As one, Abyssal Warships across the 'planet's' surface charged their weapons and opened fire, jets of energy whittling entire continents and reducing them to dust in a cascade of debris, ripping craters in the planet's surface in a matter of seconds... craters that quickly began filling with seawater.

That should take out any hidden defenses that these 'Space Raiders' might have in store for us, Cú Chulainn mused, satisfied that the only threats now were those at the base.

"Why don't we just destroy the planet?" one of the officers on another Warship questioned over the Hivemind. "If 'Sincline's' a Third Generation Riftwalker, then he should be able to survive its destruction... right?"

"If you want to risk Kuroi's wrath, be my guest," Cú Chulainn replied, eyes focused on Spaceport. "I'd rather keep my spot on the mortal coil of life, thank you very much." Although... my chances would probably improve if I weren't about to fight a Riftwalker, he mused, almost laughing at the irony... if said irony didn't have the possibility of wiping out his entire fleet.

The bridge fell silent at that, and Cú Chulainn continued to watch as his Battlefleet laid waste to the planet's surface, each strike further destabilizing the planet. His Dreadnought alone could have done the same, but he did not want to risk Kuroi's wrath by accidentally hurting Sincline.

With Sincline

The Abyssals are eviscerating everything on this planet's surface, Sincline thought, his long-range scanners reporting the devastation that the Battlefleet had already wreaked upon the planet. Already, he could sense the planet's stability decreasing with every step as he made his way past multiple Space Raiders, several glancing at him curiously. They're probably destroying anything that could hide forces or weapons capable of mounting a counterattack. Luckily, Sincline had scanned the planet seconds before the fleet had opened fire, and he was more than relieved to find that the only living beings were those at Spaceport.

Adam said that they'd only need to send a single ship in order to decimate this planet, the mech-turned-human mused, his glowing eyes shimmering in the darkness of his hood as he pushed the saloon doors open. Stepping outside, the wooden steps creaking beneath his boots, he stared out at the shimmering Particle Barrier of golden energy separating Spaceport and its launch pads from the fleet—the flames outside washing against its surface. But to send a whole Battlefleet... he had no doubt what their objective was.
