Remembering her mother Ashaya recalled another figure.
That blood stained hallway and the the retreating form of her father.
She did not like him for his impulsive actions.
Yet, she is eagerly anticipating the day she would reunite with him again.
Days passed.
Athanasia had been reborn possessing the essence of the actual Athanasia.
Ashaya was glad everything turned out to be just as it was supposed to be after all she would not be able cope with another figure possessing her sister's body.
Since Athanasia reincarnated Ashaya's life has been filled with tapestry of joy.
It's her first having so much fun after coming to this world. Finding great amusement in observing her twins expression shift every five seconds...
Ashaya can decipher the swirling thoughts of her twin in a glance.
'She's probably worrying about her death flag again....'
In the original story the female lead Athanasia was constantly worried about her life and safety because the Athanasia she knew of did not meet a good end.
She ponders how Lily doesn't notice the drastic transformation in the twins demeanour.
'Maybe she thinks it's a part of baby growth.....'
Athanasia frequently regards Ashaya in a curious manner, as if to question the girls existence.
Yet, when Ashaya meets Athanasia's gaze she gives of the most radiant smile which fills ashaya with joy
.....
The moonlight caressed Ashaya's porcelain-like skin, while her blonde hair cascaded her neck, a shade more delicate than her sister's. Her jewel-like cruelen eyes, half lided in a langued gaze, exuted an air on detachment. Her facial features mirroring those of her father's.
She recilned in her bed, her heart filled with unwavering resolve.
Magic exists in this world, and it's essence is mana, she had been experimenting ways to wield mana.
As it was not mentioned in the novel she was unfamiliar with the usual methods of mana manipulation in this world.
She had no choice but to solely rely on the knowledge gained from hundreds of fantasy novels and anime.
However her the results of her efforts are far from seen, perhaps hindered due to the her frail physique of an infant.
*Swish
A gentle sound echoed the silent room as mana began to coalesce around her skin only to dispel immediately.
"Why isn't it working......"
She murmured to herself, a hint of frustration lacing her voice.Undeterred, she attempted again but failed once more.
A delicate sound broke through her deep concentration. It was a soft cooing of a baby across the room.
A faint smile from once a delicate line like lips blossomed at Ashaya's face.
She gazed at the slumbering bady for a moment, allowing the tranquility to wash over her as she returned to her task.
Time slipped as she continued her efforts eventually embracing slumber.
......
"Nanny athy wants chocolate!!"
Athanasia requested. The nanny paused, recalling Lilian the head maids strict instructions to withhold any chocolate from the youngest princess.
Nearby,
Ashaya was leaning against the railing her gaze shifting over the garden as she attentively payed attention to her sister's conversation.(The chapter was rewritten)
