"Where are we going? This feels like a kidnapping." I say as I sit in the backseat of Aprils 2024 grey Cadillac while she drives and Kamiyah is in the front with her.

"Well I'm not kidnapping you. So there's that." She says and I roll my eyes.

"You could've atleast waited until we finished eating." I resort and she scoffs.

"You can eat after." She says and the car comes to the stop and I see we're at a hospital. "Let's go." We get out the car and we walk in following behind her. "J'ai besoin de voir le docteur Sims." She tells the nurse at the desk and she nods.

"Paging Dr. Sims! Paging Dr. Sims to the front desk!" April nods and then gestures for us to sit down to wait.

"Now, you're gonna go in there and she's gonna do some tests on you to see if you're actually pregnant."

I look at her. "I'm seeing an OB/GYN?" I ask her and she nods. "I thought I'd need an appointment for that?"

"Well you're with people who have connections. We need to find out if it's true before I say anything else about this situation." She says and I nod.

A blonde woman with blue eyes walks up in a doctors coat. "April darling, didn't think I'd be getting a page from you of all people." She says to April and she blushes in embarrassment.

"Well it's not for me. It's for Carters girlfriend." She says and the woman looks at me.

"How are you?"

"I'm good I guess."

Her eyes meet Kamiyah. "A friend of yours April?" She asks with a smirk and April narrows her eyes at her teasing. "Never mind then. Come, let's get you set up." She says to me and I stand up when April nods for it to being ok. We make it in to a room with a bed with a sheet on it and a monitor. "You can sit on the bed." She says and I nod and sit down with my hands infront of me swing my feet. "Why are you so nervous?"

I shrug. "I don't know."

She raises a brow. "So, you're the infamous Jasmine." I look at her curiously.

"You know about me?" She nods.

"Oh we all know about you dear."

"It's not exactly a compliment to know that someone she's slept with knows about me." I say and she furrows her brows at that.

"You think Carter and I slept together?"

I look at her and nod like it's obvious. "You're an attractive woman who works in her hospital, wouldn't be surprised." She chuckles. "Glad it's funny to you."

Her laugh dies down. "Dear I am not and never have slept with Carter, it would practically be incest." She says and I look at her confused. "I'm her aunt. I'm married to her uncle Lionel, you two met in France a week ago." She says and I look away to remember.

"Shit." She chuckles. "I'm sorry."

She shakes her head. "It's fine. I take it as a compliment that you feel threatened by me but you need not stress about Carter sleeping with other women dear. She's in love with you otherwise you'd be a mystery person in this family." She says and I nod. "Now, get undressed and we'll begin." She says and I look around.

"Where?"

"First time?" I nod. "Get undressed, put this on," she hands me the gown. "And call me in when you're ready." I nod understanding and she leaves the room. I take a breath and do as she says.

"Um I'm ready." I call out and the door opens revealing her.

"Perfect. Now lay back and we'll get started." I nod and lay back. She puts a cool ointment on me and then an object she goes around my stomach with as she looks at the screen. "You nervous for your baby?"
