Dynamic Duo (Ayanokoji x Reader)

Chapter 1: What happened?

"It's Takahara" Mizuki answered calmly, recovering from the shock she had.

"Your father's name is Masato, if you even forget that" Mizuki shortly added, sighing.

"What do you mean when you said new school?" I asked, changing the topic as my interest is piqued.

"You got accepted at Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School. How could you forget?" The woman said calmly yet you can hear a tinge of irritation in her voice.

'Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School, this sounds so familiar- wait up! Are you saying that... That we're inside my favorite anime?! Hello??? What?!!'

"Seems like you really had dementia or something" Mizuki added.

"Guess so?" I said while finally taking a seat on the dining table.

"頂きます" ('Itadakimasu' - 'Thank you for this meal') I said while slightly bowing before finally eating my breakfast, traditions has been there since. I remember being taught by my grandparents when I was little in my old world... and also by the help of the internet.

I finally finished preparing and I'm ready to go to school now.

I went downstairs and met my mother's gaze...'Since I'm teleported to this world already I might as well consider her as my mother because well... She is my mother in this world after all.'

"Kiddo, you better be careful and text whenever you have time because we also need updates." Mizuki said sternly yet a hint of caring tone seeps through that stern statement.

"Will do" I said while nodding my head. 'I like her, she's pretty chill unlike back in my own world where I get treated like a freaking google or robot'

"Double checked everything?" Mizuki asked.

"Yes, if that's all I'd be going now. See you soon." I said walking out of the house.

Behind that chill and composed demeanor, I was bubbling with excitement inside! I'm going to meet the characters in COTE!

The bus arrived and I got to my seat. I was hoping I could see Horikita or Ayanokoji here, since they took the bus on the first episode in the anime if I recall correctly.

And there they were, I saw Horikita first then noticed Ayanokoji.

'Quit staring Y/N, they'll find you weird if you do!' I said to myself, having an internal monologue.

Eventually, we arrived at our stop and went inside the campus.

While doing so, I noticed Horikita confronting Ayanokoji about looking at her back in the bus.

'I already know what will happen, mehhh it's not that interesting... Maybe... I could use this to my advantage and be like Ayanokoji since I know what will happen... Don't you think?'

I thought to myself while walking past them, not even sparing a glance.

When the announcement and welcoming ceremony was already done, students went to their respective classrooms.

I found myself entering the classroom and taking a seat.

Students got to know each other and were talking so loudly... 'Well, that would also be me but I know the whole story...makes me wanna act like a genius even though I'm actually not that smart'

Suddenly a guy spoke saying, "Everyone, may I have your attention, please?" The room fell silent as their attention and gaze turned towards him.

'Of course, it's Hirata!' I thought to myself.

"I was hoping we could all introduce ourselves, to get better acquainted early on the first day. The teacher doesn't seem to be here yet as well. What do you think?" Hirata added.

When some students spoke up, agreeing, Hirata took the lead in introducing himself first.

"Thanks, I'll go first, then. I'm Yosuke Hirata, just call me Yosuke. My hobby is all kinds of sports, and I intend to join the soccer club at this school. Nice to meet you all!" Hirata introduced himself, smiling. After speaking, some students cheered for him.

'Am I allowed to simp for a character- no, self! Bad, very bad'

Next to introduce herself was the of course two-faced bitc- I'm spoiling myself too much! It was Kushida, her lively and outgoing personality makes our classmates instantly become interested in her.

After some introduction, It was finally Ayanokoji's turn.

"Huh? Me?" Ayanokoji said while tilting his head, finally looked away from the window. Hirata just simply answered with a smile.

'Same Ayanokoji, same. I feel you.' I know to myself I would've been as awkward as Ayanokoji when introducing myself.

Ayanokoji stood up, introducing himself awkwardly. Trails of "uh" and "um" were heard after every sentence.

"Uh...um... I'm Kiyotaka Ayanokoji. Uh... nice to meet you all. Uh, um... I'm not good at anything in particular, but... Uh..."

'This liar' I thought to myself

"I'll work hard to get along with everyone." Ayanokoji continued. Students clapped at him as he finished introducing himself.

"Nice to meet you, Ayanokoji. Let's be good friends." Hirata said, smiling and clapping his hands, his claps have gotten louder as others' clapping subsided.

Right then, a sound caught the room's attention, a guy with red hair aggressively putting his feet at the desk, making a loud thud.

'I know this guy! Isn't this guy's name Ken Sudo? Like the one who gets in trouble a lot due to his impulsiveness?'

'How bad... I'm here silently making fun of someone like him, I'm so bad! Let's stop thinking'

Before things could even escalate quickly, a teacher walked in. Her tall figure radiates a sense of control and dominance.

'Chabashira-sensei!' I thought to my head, as a fan of COTE I basically know them like an open book... Maybe not much especially Ayanokoji but you know what I mean.

"Everyone..." Chabashira-sensei started, as she walked into the room.
