1st person POV

School is finally over, meaning I could stalk some people...

'I don't mean that in a creepy way! It's just I know they'll be holding a group study for those 3... Sudo, Ike and Yamauchi'

I decided to go to the library to see their progress just to hear Sudo saying

"Did you call me incompetent?" Sudo yelled.

"Yes. If you can't do a single simultaneous equation, I can't imagine where you'll end up in the future." Horikita answered.

Sudo grabbed Horikita's collar aggressively, which made Kushida stand up and try to stop him.

"Who needs these stupid problems? Studying is pointless, anyway. If I want a good future, I'm better off playing basketball to prepare for my pro career, than sticking my nose in some book!" He said while maintaining eye contact with Horikita.

'I mean, can't blame him. I like soccer too but I'm more focused on my studies but he should understand that he needs to be good at both academics and sports if we want that. Juggling things at the same time isn't easy after all.'

'Horikita also needs to work on her words, I mean what she is saying isn't a lie but she needs to be a little less harsher'

"Oh? How childish. You want to be a professional basketball player? You really think the world will grant a dream like that so easily? Someone so leaving in commitment and dedication can never become a professional." Horikita stated.

"I skipped club for this crap. What a waste of time." Sudo said, finally letting go of Horikita and started packing his things.

This made Ike and Yamauchi do the same thing.

"If you don't mind being expelled, do as you wish." Horikita said, fixing her collar.

Not so long after the three left, another thing escalated again.

"Horikita... No one's going to study with you if you act this way." Kushida softly spoke.

Meanwhile, Ayanokoji was just there, looking back at the two back and fourth.

'Kinda cute... What the holy water, Y/N? Get a grip self!'

"Yes, I can see that I was mistaken. I realize now that I was wasting my time on a fruitless endeavor." Horikita said.

"You mean..." Kushida started.

"I mean that if they're going to hold us back, it's better that they drop out, as soon as possible."

'That's Horikita for you...'

"Ah. I see. I'll try and work something out myself. I really don't want to have to say goodbye to them so soon. I don't want to abandon them. That's also why you started this study group, right?" Kushida simply said, not wanting to say anything that would ignite the fire.

But that isn't going to get unnoticed by Horikita.

"If you're saying that in all sincerity, I don't mind. But... Rather... what did you really come here for?" Horikita bluntly stated, which shocked Kushida.

"Did you come here to block my path?" Horikita questioned.

"What do you mean? I don't understand... How can you be so composed saying such awful things? It makes me feel so sad..." Kushida squeaked while walking away, obviously disappointed.

The room remained silent...

I decided it was my time to step in. I don't think Horikita is clueless but she needs a word about this.
