"And how do you propose we do that?" Kei asked, her tone measured.
"We use the anomaly," Teri said, his eyes locking onto me.
"What?" I asked, panic rising.
"You're connected to the rift," Teri said. "If anyone can shut it down, it's you."
"That's insane," Ignis said, crossing her arms. "They can barely control their powers."
"She's right," Kei said. "It's too dangerous."
"Everything we do is dangerous," Teri shot back. "But if we don't act now, we lose."
The room fell silent, the weight of his words sinking in. Finally, I spoke.
"I'll do it," I said, my voice trembling. "I'll try."
