"Are we absolutely sure about this?", I asked Rick who was driving. I was sitting next to him with more of our people in the back of the van. I couldn't help but feel nervous. Not specifically because we were gonna start a war, but because I will have broken the deal Negan and I made. "What if he goes after Carl..", I said almost being lost in my thoughts. "I won't let that happen. We need you for this, so you don't have to worry about that. That's my responsibility", Rick replied keeping his eyes fixed on the road.

We were almost there, and I guess it was time to get ready. "Then let's do this", I said slowly, seeing the sanctuary come closer. We were with multiple cars, guns, and people. If its not gonna work now, I don't know what will. I looked at the roof of the sanctuary and saw the people on top of it getting taken out by our people with guns. We slowly but surely made our way through the Sanctuaries front yard, which was protected by fences with the infected stuck to it.

People were running inside and probably calling for help. I noticed the cars coming to a stop in front of us, and we made sure to block off the path with the layers of iron sheets stuck to the cars as defense. As we came to a stop, Rick stopped the van and looked at me. "Let's give them a fight. For Glenn, Abraham, and all the other people they did wrong", Rick said. I nodded in determination before he got out of the van. I moved to the driver's seat to get out of the van as well, seeing that there were iron plates stuck to our van as well to my right. As I stepped out of the van, I noticed all the people that were on our side. From different communities, all with one goal. To get Negan out of their lives forever. All different people who have had different pasts, coming together as one trying to fight for freedom. And so we will make sure of that.

I took out the machine gun from within the van and walked towards Rick who was standing in front leading the attack. He placed himself next to a small opening so he could do the talking if necessary. But just as I wanted to speak up, we all heard an iron door open. I looked through a small crack and saw Negan walking out on the porch with a few of his leading people next to him. With, of course Simon being one of them. I narrowed my eyes as I noticed their confidence.

"So, you've come knocking at our door!", Negan said almost happily, "I'm sorry it took so long for me to come out. I was in a meeting". It was as if he was trying to mock us. He tried giving off the feeling he was in control today. But he wasn't.. right? He couldn't have seen this coming..

"Now, I don't know what I owe the pleasure to, but I sure as hell know you didn't come here to have a chat", he spoke up again. I simply listened for now as I looked at Rick. He nodded my way to reassure we were fine. "From the looks of it, you think you've got it all figured out. Your fancy cars and, apparantly, you've found more people and, most importantly, more guns! But I'm not gonna throw my people into battle and let them die just to play a game of my dick is bigger than yours". Something felt off about the way he talked. Could it be his confidence? Or just simply his arrogance.. All I know is that we need to be careful. And on our guard at all times.

"So, Rick! Can you please tell me.. what can I do for you?", he asked. I saw Rick doubt for a second before he spoke up. "Dwight!", he started as he pointed at one of Negans 'Lutenants', "Simon, Gavin", he said as he slowly went down the row. "And you are?", Rick asked a female standing next to Negan as well. "Regina", she replied to Rick's question. "You and all your people inside, surrender and no one has to die. I can only make you that promise right now. I am done talking, but there is still a way out. Even after everything", he said firmly as he waited for a reply. But he never got one..

"That sounds like a pretty good deal, Rick!", Negan started again, "But what about me?". "I already made you a promise. And I'm a man of my word", he replied. "That's what I thought", Negas said back. "You know, Rick? I think you've got it all wrong", Negan started as he walked around a bit, "All I wanted to do was show you the new way. I wanted to help you, work together! Hell, I even kept the rest of your people safe, and what do I get in return?". "You killed innocent people!", Rick shouted back still being behind the iron sheets. He was able to look Negan in the eyes though. "And you didn't?", Negan simply replied. A short silence fell before he spoke up again.
