Anabeth: Advent Calendar 2024

As a cooperation with the Senate, the Jedi had sent out a few groups of Younglings throughout the Senate building to go from office to office and sing some Christmas carols. The children were of course being accompanied by Masters, something Ana had volunteered for. She was guiding her group of Younglings from one office to the next, going by the list she had received. She was also pretty sure Organa had something to do with making these lists for each group, since both his and Padmè's office were on hers.

After their first few stops went smoothly, they were now on their way over to Padmè's office. The Younglings excitedly talked amongst themselves as they followed Ana through the corridors. Once they had reached their destination, Ana knocked and opened the door for the Younglings, who entered as they began to sing yet another Christmas carol.

Padmè offered the children some cookies and hot cocoa as she went to talk to Ana. "I see you are taking part in all the Christmas activities this year". "Yeah, I have to make up for not celebrating the last few years. I'm really enjoying it though" Ana replied.

"That is good to hear. Do you have something planned for tomorrow evening by any chance?" Padmè asked. "Not yet, what did you have in mind?". "Anakin and Obi-Wan volunteered to take care of the kids, so how does girls night with Satine and Ahsoka sound?". "Sounds perfect, I'll be there".

Soon it was time to continue their round through the building. After visiting a few more Senators, they finally were on to their last person on the list, Organa. The Younglings seemed very nervous for this certain performance, it wasn't every day they got to perform for the Chancellor.

Despite their nervousness, the children mastered their final performance. "Thank you, that sounded very good" Organa praised them "Now, as a little thank you for your singing today, I prepared some gifts for you, each of you can grab one from the table over there. Ana, do you perhaps ave another minute?".

The younglings excitedly hurried over to the table to each grab a gift. Meanwhile, Ana and Organa stepped to the side a little. "It's so good to see you. How is your holiday season going so far?". "Really great, I've had a lot of fun doing Christmas activities the last few days" Ana replied „What about you?".

„Oh, you know, lots of Senate business, but I've been able to do a few seasonal activities here and there. I've also been planning the Senate's annual Christmas party. I would like you to be there if you want" Organa invited her. "Of course, it would be an honor".

"And if you could maybe pass an invite along to your former Master as well, that would be great. Tell him it would be an honor to see a few more of you Jedi there as well". "Will do. I'm sure we'll find a few people who would like to join as well" Ana promised.

"Thank you, Ana. I suppose I'll see you at the party then". "Yeah, see you at the party. have a nice rest of the holiday season until then" Ana bid Bail goodbye as she began to gather up the Younglings and get them out of the door. "You too" Organa replied before the door closed behind Ana.
