It's been awhile since Aurora had been in class and since she has last spoken to Erik since their disagreement. She had spent the weekend alone with Helena Ravenclaw or as others call her the white lady. Aurora would read to her while Helena found comfort in her kindness and the softness of her personality. Even though the sound of her voice remained hollow lacking the warmth and the energy. She was there but she wasn't there.

She had become quiet and shallow. But she remained brave and strong and defended Helena when the person she hated came around. She was there but Helena knew she had curled herself into something far out of reach that only Aurora could pull herself out of when she was ready.

It wasn't only that shallowness that made Helena worry but it was the distant look in her eye. How Aurora would stare off out the gap of the hallway that showed off the amazing view of Hogwarts Ravenclaw tower and of the outside world but it was how she gripped the edge of the stone and stared down at the ground. It seemed like Aurora had kept herself holding on tightly to remain grounded and unmoving from the floor.

It wasn't till Helena spoke that Aurora pushed herself away releasing a breath. She had sighed everytime but Helena couldn't figure out if it was a sigh of relief or disappointment. But Helena held onto the girl. Not physically but emotionally. Helena wanted to keep Aurora present and happy so she did everything to keep Aurora from roaming into her brain and heart too much to keep her in the moment. A book kept her hands and mind busy.

As long as she stopped staring off far into the distance and as long as she kept talking even with no emotion it kept Aurora from doing something.

It wasn't till yesterday that Helena noticed a spark back in her eyes. She noticed her voice wasn't hollow but it remained soft with her accent. She didn't smile as much but it was there from time to time and it made Helena glad and made her sigh in relief that Aurora was herself again and wasn't trapped.

Aurora was walking alongside Erik as she smiled passing the empty courtyard. The colors of the leaves started to change colors going from the vibrant green to orange, yellow, and red.

Aurora adored this time of the year. Everything was gloomy but vibrant at the same time. It was always something to look forward to. Christmas was coming up, Halloween was in a month, and Auroras favorite that her family celebrated for years, even if it wasn't a part of her culture but her grandma had picked it up in the years they lived in America which was Thanksgiving.

She always loved Thanksgiving, the amazing foods and the amazing pies. Of course most of the food was shipped since they didn't have the proper ingredients but the pies and cakes were always made from scratch which Aurora adored.

During that week Aurora had always left school to be with her family as Dumbledore let her. Erik was always invited but he refused to come because he said it wasn't really his thing and he always preferred being with Aurora alone rather in a huge group. She didn't mind though she knew Erik was just really over protective of her and cared for her deeply. He wasn't territorial of her, they had time to do their own thing and he wanted her to make more friends cause he knew she wanted that. But he always loved it just being Erik and Aurora. Aurora and Erik.

Even at times Erik knew his love for her and her love for him weren't the same he didn't mind as long as she was with him. He enjoyed it all. Erik wasn't going to lie but he also had gained two new friends this year with the help of Aurora. Frank and Alice. He enjoyed talking to Frank and they always loved to pick on the girls when they were trying to talk about other things and study.

It was their own little group their own little family and he knew for sure that Aurora was happy. If not beyond happy.

"It's beautiful Erik." She said as she gazed out watching the leaves flow to the ground.
