Jaune Radec

It has been a few months since Radec presented Stahl with his side project. Stahl was curious where Radec had acquired these blueprints and the energy source. When it was tested and proven to be highly effective, they were commissioned to replicate the energy source to apply it to their military and populace. Radec proposed a test of the portal and had Stahl install the power source in one of their ships. Stahl agreed and they began their first test.

Flashback

Radec: Have all the preparations been made?

Stahl: Yes, Radec I will have the technicians inform me of the data they collected. Have you sent them the coordinates.

Radec: The coordinates have been sent. I made sure it was accurate. I wish for no failures in this little experiment of ours

Stahl contacts the crew.

Stahl: You may proceed with the test.

Helghast Scientist: Yes, Chairman Stahl.

Both of them looked at the Helghast Cruiser as they jumped straight towards the portal. Then after that the Cruiser vanished.

Stahl: Well

Helghast Technician: No, signal yet sir. But the cruiser is still online. Wait, hold on. Sir, the ship is making contact. Patching them through.

Radec: What were the results of the tests? Have we arrived in our intended destination?

Helghast Captain: Affirmative Colonel Radec, the technicians are inputting the data as we speak. Shall we return to Helghan after this?

Radec: Before you do that Captain, I want you to gather data about this planet. Enter the planet's atmosphere and gather as much info as you can. Be discreet, we do not know if the natives are hostile. Report back to Helghan once you've finished and send the data to me.

Helghast Captain: Of course Colonel.

Stahl: You seem to be really interested in this world, Radec, is there something you're not telling me?

Radec: Yes Stahl I am, but in due time you will know.

Radec leaves for his ship as he returns back to the Academy. Once the technicians sent Radec their findings about Remnant. They were able to acquire a sample of Dust during one of their scouting missions. Knowing Stahl he would use this as a means to study it and hopes to replicate it. He learned that time has not changed one bit, he was gone for many years during his time in Helghan. But when he looked at Remnant it was merely only a month since he died.

Radec: 'It seems time works differently here, I could use this to my advantage'

He was interrupted when a soldier came into his office.

Radec: What is it?

Helghast Soldier: Sir we have reports from the Cruiser that you send to those coordinates. They reported that when they took off their masks, they were all healed of their sickness. They all looked as normal as if they never went to Helghan. Stahl had them remain in the ships, due to the possibility they might be exposed by the air in Helghan.

Radec: Interesting, inform Stahl I wish to speak with him immediately.

Helghast Soldier: Yes Colonel Radec

Helghast Cruiser

Radec: It seems we reached a new unexpected development.

Stahl: Yes, from what the reports said. The planet is rich with raw energy and the inhabitants are proven to be quite primitive despite the technology they have.

Radec: How goes the research with that crystal the scouting team acquired.

Stahl: It's proven to have it's use. But the energy it releases is not as powerful as Petrusite. I feel like this power source is inferior compared to our other means of energy.

Radec: (sighs) And Atlas thinks they're superior because they a infinite amount of Dust in their hands.

Stahl: Atlas? Dust?

Radec: It's a city located in the planet we discovered....Stahl let's go to your office. I wish to tell you the truth about all this.

Stahl nods as they proceeded to his office in his ship. As they enter they both sit in their respective chairs as Stahl waits for Radec's explanation.

Stahl: So Colonel Radec, what do you really know about this planet?

Radec: Stahl what do you know about the term Reincarnation?

Stahl: Well to put it simply it is to be reborn to a new life. Come on, Colonel, don't tell me you were reborn. Don't make me laugh.

Radec: It's true Stahl I was reincarnated as Mael Radec and that planet is my home.

Stahl was shocked to what Radec said. He didn't believe it at first.

Stahl: You're joking right, please tell me you're joking.

Stahl laughs at Radec's claim

Radec: No I am not, my first life I was a man named Jaune Arc. I was a Huntsman in training in Beacon on the planet Remnant. I was betrayed and killed by someone who I thought I called a friend. I made a deal with the Gods of that world and was reincarnated as the man you're seeing now.

Stahl: This is.....Radec how can you be sure that anybody in this ship will believe you.

Radec: I'm not but I'm willing to make that risk. Look at this Stahl, Remnant is rich with resources. We could use this as an opportunity to relocate our people to a safer place. From what you saw, the soldiers that were sent to Remnant were healed. Stahl this could be our chance for a better life than in Helghan with our resources we could establish a New Helghan society in Remnant free from the ISA.

Stahl thinks about Radec's proposal.

Stahl: That's an interesting speech you got there Radec. We will make our proposal and present it to Visari. Now tell me all there is about your home Remnant.

So the entire day was spent with Radec informing Stahl about Remnant from its History, Aura, Semblances, Huntsman and Huntresses, Dust, and the Grimm.
