I'll remember you.-Nani.
Sure you will- Sky.

3 days later at the Grand Palace:-
Sky didn’t want to be here.
He leaned against the cold stone wall, hidden in the shadows at the edge of the courtyard.
His arms were crossed tightly, his jaw clenched as he stared at the grand scene before him.
The palace balcony was decorated with golden banners, flowers, and velvet curtains. Nobles and commoners filled the courtyard, their faces eager and excited.
And there he was.
Prince Nani stood tall in the center, wearing robes of crimson and gold that shimmered in the sunlight.
His expression was calm, almost cold, as if he was used to this kind of attention.
But there was something about him—something sharp and powerful—that made it impossible for Sky to look away.
“Damn him,” Sky muttered under his breath. He didn’t even know why he had come.
Nani moved like he owned the world, his hands folded neatly in front of him. Sky hated it.
Hated the way he carried himself, so sure, so perfect. And yet…he couldn’t stop watching. It wasn’t just the way he looked—it was the way he held the attention of everyone, like he could capture their souls just by standing there or maybe just catch his.
“Ridiculous,” Sky whispered, shaking his head.
The royal advisor stepped forward, holding a crown that sparkled like fire.
His voice boomed across the courtyard. “Today, we crown the heir of the Hirunkit dynasty, the symbol of strength and hope for the future—”
The crown was soon to fall upon Nani, despite his fingers shaking he held himself up.
A scream cut through the air.
Sky’s head snapped up.
From the top of the palace, something fell. A heavy, lifeless figure plummeted from the tower and hit the ground with a loud, sickening thud.
Blood spilled across the stone, a dark red that spread like ink.
The crowd froze.
Nani’s calm mask broke, his head turning sharply toward the scene.
The nobles gasped and stepped back, some covering their faces. Soldiers rushed forward, shouting orders, trying to make sense of the chaos.
Sky stared at the body. His chest tightened as the sight of blood brought back memories—memories he wished would stay buried.

Flashback:-
He saw his father, broken and cold, brought home after the battle.
Sky’s mother stood over the body, her eyes wild with rage. “They left him to die,” she had said. “The Hirunkits betrayed him. Never forgive them, Sky. Never forget.”
Sky had clenched his fists, his small hands trembling. “I won’t.”
