2 years later...

Worlds Apart.

꧁ ༺♔ ༻ ꧂

Nani had been trying since 2 years....to write the same thing he's going to burn.

The room was suffocating. The air felt thick, heavy, as if the walls themselves bore witness to Nani's torment.

He sat hunched over his desk, the candlelight trembling against the oppressive darkness.

The words on the parchment swirled before his eyes, a chaotic mess of ink and pain.

Each stroke was jagged, raw, as if his very soul had bled onto the page.

"Sky" he had written. A name that echoed in his mind like a haunting melody, one he could neither silence nor escape.

His fingers gripped the quill tightly, the sharp end trembling against the parchment. He scratched out another line, his frustration bubbling over like a boiling cauldron.

I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everything. I need you. I can't... I can't do this without you....

The words were a confession, a surrender, yet they felt hollow. Nani's chest heaved, his breaths shallow and uneven. Every letter, every curve of ink mocked him, reminding him of his helplessness.

He clenched his fists, the parchment crumpling under the pressure. His knuckles turned white, and a growl escaped his throat.

"What's the point?" he hissed, his voice cracking. "You're not here... You're never coming back."

Only if he knew...one signal from Nani and Sky would be present.

With a sudden burst of rage, he hurled the letter into the fire. The flames devoured it instantly, the ink dissolving into ash.

Nani watched the paper curl and blacken, the embers rising like ghosts. His heart twisted painfully, as if the flames had consumed not just the letter but his last thread of hope.

Meanwhile, far away, Sky crouched in the shadows of an empty alley, the night cold and unforgiving.

His fingers dragged through the dirt, tracing letters he couldn't stop himself from writing: Nani.

The name felt like both a prayer and a curse, a lifeline he couldn't let go of. He stared at it until his vision blurred, his chest tightening with every ragged breath.

The ground beneath him was damp and cold, but he didn't care. The weight of his longing crushed him, leaving no room for anything else.

Sky's hands trembled, his nails digging into the earth as if he could anchor himself there, as if writing Nani's name over and over would somehow bring him back.

His lips quivered, and his voice broke into the silence

The dirt smeared, the name fading into a shapeless blur, just like the memories he tried so hard to hold onto.

Tears slid down his cheeks, hot and bitter, mixing with the grime on his face. He buried his head in his hands, his body shaking with silent sobs.

Both of them, worlds apart, endured the same agony-a torture born of love that neither could let go of. It was an unending cycle of hope and despair, a bond that chained them together even as it tore them apart.
