The gates of the USJ slammed shut behind the students, and the atmosphere in the massive simulation facility shifted from excitement to anticipation. The emergency alarms blared across the loudspeakers as the students of Class 1-A stepped further into the building, their senses heightened as they observed the various disaster zones laid out before them. The air was thick with tension, the simulation about to begin.

Aizawa, who had remained stoically silent as they walked deeper into the plaza, finally spoke.

“Alright, everyone. Stick together and pay attention. There are different zones here, each designed to test different aspects of your quirk control and teamwork. We’ll be splitting into groups and testing your reactions. Keep your guard up.”

Izumi nodded, her glowing purple eyes flicking around, scanning the environment. Her mind was already going over potential scenarios and plans for the others in case something went wrong. She could feel the energy of her classmates rise as the danger of the situation seemed to grow more real.

Then, without warning, the ground beneath them cracked. A low, rumbling sound filled the air, and the sky above darkened as a swirling black portal materialized right in the center of the plaza.

“What the hell—?!” Bakugo roared as he took a step back, sparks flying from his hands.

Izumi’s heart rate spiked. She had felt the change in the air, the sudden shift in energy. She had no idea what was going on, but she knew something wasn’t right.

From the swirling mass of black and purple energy, figures began to materialize. Kurogiri, the misty villain with a portal-based quirk, stepped forward with his dark, clouded form, his eyes glowing beneath his hood. Behind him stood a number of other figures, each equally menacing, their quirks as dangerous as they were unpredictable.

“The League of Villains...” Izumi muttered under her breath, her body tensing as her mind shifted into combat mode. She could sense the danger in the air—this was no simulation.

“Class, move!” Aizawa barked. He immediately jumped into action, his scarf unfurling with deadly precision as he aimed it at Kurogiri, preparing to neutralize him.

However, Kurogiri was quick to react. With a flick of his hand, the air around him warped, and a black vortex opened beneath Aizawa, sending him hurtling away from the group.

“No!” Izumi exclaimed, instinctively taking a step forward. Her tentacle-like legs instinctively coiled, ready to spring into action, but she held herself back. She needed to assess the situation first.

Before she could move, another portal opened near the students. The air warped, pulling them in every direction, scattering them across the simulation zones. Izumi’s vision blurred as she was sucked into the swirling vortex, feeling the wind rush past her as everything around her spun uncontrollably.

Meanwhile in the Disaster Zones

Zone 1: The Flooded Zone

Uraraka landed with a soft thud, finding herself knee-deep in water. The flooded zone was a dark and grim scene, with dilapidated buildings sinking into the water. The walls of the buildings were cracked and leaking, adding to the chaos.

“Where am I?” Uraraka’s voice was muffled by the water, her usual optimism clouded by the gravity of the situation. “Izumi? Anyone?”

She scanned the area, trying to steady herself. Her quirk was still intact, but it wouldn’t be easy to fight in water. She clenched her fists, summoning the ability to make things float. The current was strong, and as she scanned the surroundings, she noticed Todoroki had landed nearby.
