Mingi and Angeline got settled in quickly, they were enjoying Brian's home with Sherri.
Everything was perfect....well almost perfect.
It could have been better on Mingi's end because ever since they moved to Venice, Angeline's been locked up in her room or somewhere else. They would only see each other at dinner but besides that, he wouldn't see her during the day.
However, this past week he hasn't seen her at all and it's starting to worry him. Mingi didn't want to let things boil over into his feelings but he couldn't help himself especially since they are bonded together.
Mingi had so much more questions about their connection and it didn't help that Angeline was so distant. He wasn't the type to pry or bother someone so waiting patiently for Angeline to come to him was his best option at the moment.
Right now, Sherri was in her pink apron cooking breakfast for Mingi as he waited in the kitchen.
He loved being around her, she was like a mom to him and Sherri enjoyed his company. He was honestly adorable and so refreshing.
She kept glancing at him because this was the first time he was silent around her...silent in general.
"What's on your mind, pumpkin?" Sherri asked, looking at the young vampire's frown face.
She put a plate down in front of him as he thought to himself then faced her.
"Angeline has been distant," He said before eating his eggs.
"Wow, it's only been a week since you guys moved here and already you need to be involved in every step Angeline makes," Sherri sat down in front of him as he gazed away from her teasing expression.
"You're so co-dependent it's cute." She pouted, her cute button nose scrunched up.
"Stoppp. It's embarrassing," Mingi put the fork down to cover his face.
"Ever since we bonded, I can't stop thinking about her. Like I want to be near every minute and every second of the day." He whined, trying to explain himself.
"Don't be embarrassed. Me and Brian were worse when we met. We even got matching tattoos," She pointed to a tattoo on her wrist and Mingi leaned in to analyze it.
The tattoo was a drawing of Brian's hands holding her heart and Mingi thought it was so beautiful.
Sherri had many tattoos on her body, just like Brian but hers were more minimalist. So to see the most detailed and biggest tattoo on her body meant that it was special to her and now he couldn't wait to see Brian's version.
"For the longest time, I didn't trust anyone in my life after my family died. I hated the Four for killing my kind for years but once I met Brian my hatred dwindled and I put my love in him," She traced her tattoo with a joyful smile.
