~ Khwabon ki duniya mai
Hum khote gai,
Hosh mai the
Phir bhi madhosh hote gai,
Jane kya jaadu tha us
Ajnabi chehre mai,
Khud ko bohot roka phir
Bhi ussi ke hote gai~💐💚🍃🎋

Song: Bang Bang🎶

The cafeteria is buzzing with its usual clamor, the noise blending with the sounds of clinking trays and casual chatter.
I'm mindlessly scrolling through my phone, wondering why I'm even here when I hear footsteps approaching.
It's not hard to guess who it is-Azlan, striding towards us like he owns the world.
And let's be honest, with the number of digits he has in his bank account, he kinda does own the world.

"So, Azlan," I begin, leaning back in my chair with a smug grin. "Will you give me your yacht keys, or should I just go get them myself?"

I extend my palm, fully expecting him to give me that icy stare of his, and of course, he doesn't disappoint.
If looks could kill, I would be dead before I could blink.
The intensity in his eyes is so sharp it could cut glass.

Aaj tahajjud mein tune dua ki hogi, isliye main haar gaya,"
("You must've prayed in tahajjud for my defeat, that's why I lost.")
Azlan says, his voice as cold and serious as always.

I raise an eyebrow at him. Did he just imply that I won because I prayed for it? Whatever, I'll take it.

"Jo bhi ho Azlan, ye weekend par to maza hi aa jayega,"
("No matter what, we're still going to have a blast this weekend.")
Saif cuts in, walking up behind him with a smirk. Clearly, he's enjoying the whole scene.
Classic Saif.

Azlan, as usual, doesn't respond to Saif. He just glares at us, like he's silently considering how much he regrets knowing us. Then, his voice drops to a low growl. "Tum log ki aaj kismat jaag gayi, varna agar vo saamne nahi aati toh main-"
("you guys got lucky today, or else if she wouldnt have come in front-")
his sentence is abruptly cut.

"VO SAAMNE NAHI AATI!?" Faraz and Saif shout in unison, looking utterly bewildered.

My eyebrows shoot up. Did Azlan just say what I think he said? He's never, ever mentioned a 'girl' before.
Only a girl that has a death wish would come in his 5 feet radar.

Azlan's eyes narrow, and I'm half-expecting him to freeze us all with a single look. Seriously, no one has ever heard him talk about a girl before.

Azlan sighs like the world has just burdened him with the greatest inconvenience. "It's a story for some other time," he mutters, as if we don't need to know anything more.
With that, he turns around and walks off, his presence still heavy in the air even after he's gone.

Saif, clearly not able to contain his laughter, grins. "Did Azlan just-?"

"Azlan has a 'story' about a girl?" Faraz adds, blinking as if he has misheard him.
