"Oh so You think so?" Snapped Cersei at her younger brother Tyrion. Her twin Jaime sat with them aswell. He had hidden his face in his cup. There had been amusement on his face, much of it, but Cersei wanted to hear none about it.

"He's trailing after her like a lost puppy." Mused the youngest of the three. "as he should though-"

"Yes, well, they're betrothed be glad of it." Added Jaime, setting his cup down and looking at the angry brow of his sister. "Jocelyn seems to adore him-"

"She does not." Interrupted Cersei her brother. She scoffed, rose from her seat at the table and started pacing the room. Her hands folded behind her back and a sneer covering her features. Which many, even if she appeared so angry, considered perfect.

"He's not allowed to be alone with her, go watch over your niece, Robert doesn't seem to care."

"If anything he encourages it." Mused Tyrion a little drunkenly. He and Jaime locked eyes and smiled at eachother. "Be glad Cersei, she's reached the right age to be married, least she likes him."

"She's my daughter." Hissed Cersei. Watching as Jaime Lannister left the room. Keeping his head down after what Tyrion just said.

"You know there is one thing I cannot seem to understand." Spoke Tyrion in a low voice as soon as his older brother had left. "Knowning you, and the lengths you for for your children, why ever leave her here? So far North?"

Cersei looked up rather lazily, she raised her cup and stared at it's contents, flattening her lips and scoffing. "You think I had any say in the matter?"

Tyrion nearly rolled his eyes, he shook his head and jumped from his chair. Folding his hands behind his back whilst he started pacing the room.

"Robert can be relentless."

"Brought the topic of marriage before me when she was only just born. Betroth her to Ned's daughter. He said. I sent him away." Added Cersei in anger.

"Again and Again, I steer him away, tell him she is too young, she is. Ypu may not see it but she's only a child. My child, my firstbon. I will not leave her here."

"What do you expect Cersei? If she is to marry the Heir to Winterfell she will end up-"

"No she won't." Stated Cersei quickly. "Our father sent a party of knights, he's the one paying for her dowry, not the crown so-" Cersei crossed her arms, satisfaction in her eyes.

"Let Robert think she'll stay here, let Ned Stark, all of them. But she'll be a Lannister ward before any of this marriage fustian."

Cersei Lannister crossed her arms, looking her younger brother up and down. "What is it?"

"Just that you never dissapoint sister. It would have been odd, to say the least, had you really abandoned her here."

"What kind of mother did you think I am?"

At the other side of the keep, tucked in a darm room with a roaring hearth and a dozen candles aflame, Jocelyn Baratheon had just finished reading a Northern bedtime story to her youngest siblings. For a moment, when Tommen laughed at something terrible, she recalled reading stories to Joffrey. She recalled how he had often hit her with a book, whenever he didn't like the stories. Sometimes Jocelyn worried if Sweet Tommen was just set to become cruel like their brother Joffrey. She prayed to the gods that they would remain sweet and soft.

She kissed their hands and blew out all twelve candles. Wishing Tommen and Myrcella a goodnight.

Jocelyn's mother had asked her to dine with her and her uncles, but the princess was avoiding her mother. She felt incredibly angry still.
