Jocelyn hadn't cried when her family departed, she had clenched her jaw and been quite bitter actually, towards her mother atleast. But the Queen pursed her lips and shot a dissapointed look to her daughter. Still Jocelyn held firm. "Grandsire wrote to me."

"Good."

"I asked him if I could visit the Rock."

Cersei smiled at her daughter, petting the side of her face and kissed her cheek. "Well then you'll be home soon."

"But in half a year, I will still- be here, in the North."

"And that is the way of the realm, Jocelyn, be glad." Spoke Cersei quickly, causing Jocelyn to frown a little. Her mother would never say such a thing to Joffrey, if her brother wanted a fountain spewing gold, then next morn the servants would carry it in. If he wanted to skin kittens she'd let him, if he wanted to whip servants she'd let them.

"You could have chosen a husband closer to home."

"When I remind you of the way of the realm, I remind you that your father is King, my influence stretches only so far."

Jocelyn knew not what to say, so she crossed her arms, and bit away her bitter tears. Atleast Robb was kind and good. But why did he have to live so very far away.

"We'll exchange letters, and I will talk to your father about postponing the wedding, Lord Stark has many sons, there is no rush for his son to have any heirs."

Grimacing again, Jocelyn gave her mother a hesitant nodd. "Tha-"

"Jocelyn, ah look at you!" Cersei stepped away, nearly rolling her eyes at her husband's loud voice. Hadn't she moved to the left, he would have slammed right into his Queen. Robert wrapped his arms around Jocelyn and squeezed her so tight she coughed. It sent Robert into a fit of laughter and he stroked her hair for a moment.

"My Baratheon girl." He said, "Not longer a little fawn eh? You'll be a wolf soon."

"Yes father." Her voice was stale and dry, and it caused the King's features to drop. "Oh don't look so sad, I heard a servant already caught you too kissing in the stables, now go on, you'll be wed soon, I expext you to present each and every one of your children to me, at court, Joss."

Jocelyn turned beet red and looked away, shaking her head. "Father please...."

"I'm expecting many travels-"

"You might allow us to live at court then-"

"Nonsense, you are to become Lady of Winterfell, a Princess still, ofcourse, you'll always be my little Princess Jocelyn, worry not."

Jocelyn watched half the Stark and their household, aswell as her own family depart with sullen eyes. She stood in the yard hugging her own waist and trying to look past Joffrey's smirk. She hated him, and it extended so much further than just Siblings disliking eachother.

"Would you care to take supper together?"

Jocelyn had been staring at the departing party for so long that she hadn't noticed Robb appearing besides her. He had folded one hand behind his back and was offering the other to Jocelyn. His Direwolf Grey Wind stood besides him and Jocelyn smiled at the large animal. Outstretching her hand, she waited for him to sit and wag his tail before she started petting him.

"Isn't it a bit early for supper?" Jocelyn smiled at Robb's direwolf, crouching to reach his heigh she kissed the top of his head. "You're so sweet." She mused.

"It is." Robb agreed with a faint smile. Raising one brow. Jocelyn felt a warm tug in her stomach, one that bothered on sheer excitement. So she grinned at him. "We'll take supper in m my quarters perhaps? It is so quiet now with everyone gone."

The days passed swift, Jocelyn hadn't yet informed Robb that she was to depart for Casterly Rock soon, well over a fortnight lay between then and now, so instead she revelled in his touch, and his kisses. She felt she could spent hours in his arms, with his fingers skimming the outlines of her chest, and his lips exploring her neck and face, his fingers pleasured her every morning and every night, afternoons aswell. When Jocelyn asked him if she could make him feel like this he refused. "Later." He'd say, "You are a Princess, allow me to take my time."

She wasn't really bothered by this, not at all, in fact after a few days she stopped asking. Jocelyn wrote to her siblings, and brought tea and hotmilk to Lady Stark who still sat with her son. Bran Stark still hadn't woken and Jocelyn offered to pray to the Seven for Catelyn. The Lady of Winterfell paid little notice to Jocelyn, frowning at her instead.

"Your mother told me you had a brother, once."

Jocelyn stiffened at Lady Catelyn's words, she almost dropped the cup of honeyed milk she held in her hands. She sat it down besides Bran's bedside quickly and composed herself.

"Well yes, at birth, I had a brother, his name was Rogar."

Lady Catelyn didn't say anything else, instead she focused on the piece she was crafting, something to catch bad dreams, and to bring good luck to her ailing boy. Jocelyn wondered if Bran would ever wake up. "Robb and I are going out riding this morning." Said Jocelyn quietly as she held onto the side of the door. "Is there anything you'd like taken care off in our absence?"

"Will you be gone long then?" Wondered Catelyn, her eyes distant.

"No, only a few hours, we'll be here long before supper. Rickon's asking for you but I've left him with his Septa, is that alright?"

"You're a sweet girl." Spoke Lady Stark up. Rubbing her left eye for a moment, before fixating her gaze on her son again. "We're lucky to have you with us."

"Thank you Lady Stark."

Jocelyn closed the door, feeling a bit weighed down as she left the hall. Robb had been waiting outside, both her and his horse's reigns around his palm, but Jocelyn had insisted she pay a visit to Lady Stark.

"How is she?" Asked Robb her when she entered the yard and kissed his cheek.

"She called me a sweet girl."

Robb smiled at her, nodding and mounting his horse with a chuckle and a shake of his head.

The two rode for an hour, making little conversation as they preferred to race eachother across the hills and forests of the North.

"So will you give up on our destination yet?" Mused Jocelyn after she had beat him in a short race again. She kissed the side of her horse's mane and grinned.

"No."

"Oh but why-"

"Ser Jorren, Malfrey, please stay back." Mused Robb as he eyed his guards and swung from his horse. Jocelyn look to her own two guards, one Lannister one Baratheon. "Stay with the horses." Jocelyn dismounted her own horse and made sure to check for her dagger before she followed Robb, not because she didn't trust him, but rather these foreign woods scared her a little.

All four guards knew better than to question the Princess and Lord of Winterfell, so they remained behind the thick trees. Robh walked in front of Jocelyn, pushing past a sets of branches and bushes. He took her hand then, smiling handsomely.

"Remember our first ride together?"

"In these woods I recall."

"I spoke off Hotsprings, most of them are very far, or within the snow, but this one if perfectly warm and neat, close to home aswell." Robb outstretched his other arm, towards a set of nestled in between rocks, hotsprings. "No sulfur." Mused Jocelyn, smiling faintly, they smelled of metal and earth and when the princess stepped forward to touch the water she didn't grimace but happily sighed at the warm feel.

"You brought me here, but what about our return Robb? We'll freeze to our deaths." Whispered Jocelyn when the young Lord snaked his arms around her waist and kissed her neck. "We'll ride off to a larger area someday soon, they'll have caves there, and snow too, I still want to take you to see the snow."

"I still want to dip my toes in." Remarked Jocelyn as she bent down to unlace her boots. "Couldn't hurt right?" She looked back at Robb, curling her lip.
