Drawing and coloring with Lucifer had been great! It was lots of fun and she got to interact with him. She slowly became comfortable and allowed herself to relax around him. Even though Charlie had to help her communicate a bit, the princess was very proud of Vaggie for being able to make friends and interact with the others.
After a while, Charlie checked the time on her phone and realized it was time for the arts and crafts activities. However, she remembered that Vaggie was feeling a lot smaller than the others and likely wouldn't be able to do the crafts like everyone else.
"Hey, sweetie? Do you think you'll be able to do the arts and crafts with everyone else?" she asked. Vaggie shook her head. She knew that her motor skill weren't the best at the moment and was afraid she'd ruin something or make her art look bad.
"That's fine, but are you alright with hanging out at the tables? It's just so Mama can see you," Charlie offered. She didn't want Vaggie to be too far away from her just in case something were to happen. The little angel nodded.
So Charlie stood in front of the little stage they had and directed the group to their seats and tables. Vaggie decided to sit next to Lucifer again because he was the only one she was comfortable with.
"Alright everyone! We will be decorating picture frames! Everyone should have their own blank frame at their seat, and decorating materials should be at all the tables." Charlie announced. Right away the room started to fill with small chatter as all the littles and their caregivers started to decorate.
While Vaggie hung out with Lucifer, Charlie walked around, checking in on everyone and making sure things were all a-okay. However, when she had her back turned, Alastor walked up to the two fallen angels. With them at their most vulnerable, it only seemed right to him to maybe tease a little. They pissed him off too much when they were big. He thought they deserved at least a little bit of teasing.
"Why, how are the little angels doing?" He asked in his creepy voice that you couldn't tell if he was being genuine or not. Vaggie whimpered and hugged her stuffy, obviously scared of him. He leaned over them with his horrifying stare and smile. Lucifer saw that Vaggie was scared and stood up on his seat.
"Go away, awastor! You scawing Vaggie!" He told him. Alastor didn't make a single move, still smiling his normal smile. He did then look over to Vaggie.
"Is that true, dear? Do I scare you?" Alastor said. Vaggie tried not to let out a scream, but she was very close to doing so. His tall creepy presence reminded her of when Adam would be mad at her. He always would speak in a tone she never could understand. She hadn't even realized how scared she was during her flashback, because her nappy started to swell and she hadn't even noticed. Unfortunately Alastor had noticed. He let out a chuckle.
"My, My! It seems like I do! Didn't realize I was scary enough to make someone have an accident!" He chuckled. Vaggie blushed and looked down. Did she really have one? That never happened to her from Alastor! Maybe it was because he reminded her of Adam? She didn't know. All she knew was that she was embarrassed and terrified. Vaggie let out a wail and began crying. She tried to hide her face in her Koala but that barely helped. All these emotions were too overwhelming and she wanted Charlie.
Right away, Charlie was over to their table. She pushed Alastor away and picked up Vaggie. She noticed that she had a small accident but that wouldn't cause this big of a meltdown.
"Shh, it's okay, baby, come on," Charlie carried her over to another room and tried to calm her down. She rocked her, sang a small lullaby and gave her lots of forehead kisses before she finally calmed down.
"What happened, baby?" She asked. If she knew what caused this much of a reaction, she could help prevent it next time.
"A-awastor being mean nd scawy..." sniffled Vaggie. She hated how weak she felt around him. She felt like she couldn't do anything to stop him from teasing her.
"Oh baby, I'm so sorry. Did he cause a flashback?" Charlie guessed. She knew how tall and overwhelming Alastor could sometimes be and she wondered if that maybe reminded Vaggie of Adam. The little one nodded so Charlie held her close and rubbed her back.
"Shh, you're okay, sweetie. I'll make sure he doesn't interact with you when you're little, okay?" She told her. That made Vaggie feel a little bit better.
"Come on, lets go back to the group. You can stay with Mama, okay? I'll change you after lunch, is that ok?" Charlie asked. Lunch would be in a little bit and she doubted that Vaggie wanted the stress of getting changed before lunch.
Sure enough, Vaggie nodded, being okay with getting changed after lunch. So they walked back into the main room. As Charlie sat at her own table in the front, she would either have Vaggie in her lap or on the floor right next to her. Hopefully lunch would be much better than this.
