I don't think I have a particular writing style. I'm still trying to find my writing style till this day. There's so many great writing styles I want to imitate and I never stick to one. So, my writing style ends up changing with each book I write or which author I like currently.
But when it comes to my writing, I do use evocative language and atmospheric writing. I did put two chapters up long ago about evocative words, and there's a google doc that I have for a writing style (if i can find it)
Poetic rhythms, vivid imagery, etc. I focus on sound, structure, and precise descriptions.
To achieve that, use sensory details. All five senses. Use nouns and verbs to carry weight and texture.
Errr, lots of my influences come from classic literature (some modern). Like, Dostoevksy, Oscar Wilde, James Baldwin, Anton Chekhov, Michele Mari). It varies.
I'll create a chapter on how to find your writing style.
