A few months later:

At a roadside café,

Outside Kiara's coaching center:

(The late afternoon sun filtered through the glass windows, casting a warm glow on the café.

The place buzzed with students, their chatter blending with the clink of coffee mugs.

Kiara and Abhir sat at their usual corner table, her iced coffee untouched as she lazily stirred it. Abhir stretched his arms, leaning back with an easy smile.)

Kiara: (teasingly) Abhir, bataa na! Tere plans kya hai? 12th ke baad kya karega tu?

Abhir: (grinning) Simple hai, yaar. Ek baar 12th ke exams khatam ho jaaye, uske baad CA ke liye full- on taiyaari shuru!!!!! Papa already bol chuke hain— bas CA ke exams clear kar le, uske baad toh life set hai!!!

Kiara: (raising an eyebrow) Papa ki firm join karne waala hai?

Abhir: (grinning) Of course! Tension-free life ke liye ready hoon main!!!!

(Kiara smirked, stirring her drink more vigorously.)

Kiara: (raising an eyebrow) Waah, kya planning hai! Ek dum perfect life ka blueprint banaya hai.

Abhir: (leaning forward) Tu bata, tera kya chal raha hai? teri life ka, kya blueprint hai??

Kiara: (taking a sip of her coffee) Abhi toh first term exams khatam hue hain. Now, all my focus is on the national championship race. Bahut close aa gaya hai.

Abhir: (nodding) Matlab ab tere practice sessions aur bhi hectic honge, right?

Kiara: (nodding, sighing) Haan, Manav sir ne bola hai ki subah bhi aana padega. Morning aur evening sessions chalenge.

Abhir: (frowning) Phir se bhaaga-daudi shuru! Kaise manage kar leti hai tu? Mujhse toh kabhi na ho.

Kiara: (smirking) Tujhse toh coaching ka homework bhi manage nahi hota.

(Abhir feigned offense, clutching his chest.)

Abhir: Arrey, tu hai naa.... meri coaching ka homework karne ke liye!!!!

Kiara: (rolling her eyes) Waah, kya baat hai! Khud toh kaam nahi karega, aur mera kaam badhaayega?

Abhir: (laughing) Mazak kar raha tha!!! (he thinks) But sach mein, tu kaise manage karegi? Last time toh teri haalath dekhi thi—ek minute ka chain nahi tha!

Kiara: Chain toh iss baar bhi nahi hai.... the only difference is that, this time– my school management knows about my races. Toh, mere liye, woh thoda sa lenient ho gaye hain.

Abhir: (curious) Lenient? Matlab kya karte hain tere liye?

Kiara: (counting on her fingers) Attendance manage karte hain. Agar late ho jaaun toh koi issue nahi. Homework ke liye extra time milta hai. Aur agar race ke din test ho, toh reschedule kar dete hain.

Abhir: (wide-eyed) Arrey waah! Toh tu full VIP treatment le rahi hai, school mein!

Kiara: (grinning) Kuch faayda toh hona hi chahiye na hard work ka. But still.... schedule abhi bhi tight hai. Weekend pe, instead of resting.... Main apna homework khatam karti hoon!!!

Abhir: (mockingly dramatic) Kya life hai teri! Heroine jaise hai. Par tujhe dekh ke mujhe lagta hai ki main bahut lazy hoon.

Kiara: (laughing) Tu lazy nahi, comfortable hai. Waise, tu CA ka toh bolta hai, par uski coaching kab start karega?

Abhir: (shrugging) Exam ke baad, yaar. Abhi toh sirf soch raha hoon. Ek baar shuru karunga toh main bhi fully focused ho jaunga.

Kiara: (teasing) Tu aur fully focused? Uss din ka intezaar rahega, mujhe!!!!

Abhir: (laughing) Accha madam racer, tu focus kar apne tracks pe. Ek din jab tu national champion banegi, toh main tujhe bataunga ki CA banna kitna tough hota hai.

Kiara: (playfully punching his arm) Done! Tab tak tu mere cheerleader ban ja.

(They both laughed, their easy camaraderie lighting up the cozy corner. As the sun dipped lower, they lingered over their coffee, chatting about everything and nothing, their bond evident in every joke and tease.)
