Emilie is a young girl who has always longed for action. When she gets sucked inside of her brand new video game, she meets the captain of a PS5 ship, Astro Bot. As soon as she meets him, she is fond of him, and throughout their adventure, develops...
"Hey Emilie! Grandma sent you package! It's here!" Mom says in her sweet voice. Normally, at this time of day, while watching TV, I'd be annoyed. But any time Grandma is mentioned, I'm a happy 15-year old woman.
I don't get to see her often. When your grandmother lives in Virginia and you live in Kansas, you don't often get the time to be with her. But it's still always nice to get a birthday gift from Grandma.
I immediately bolt to the living room to see what Grandma has gotten me this year. A box labeled 'Fragile' sits on the coffee table.
I open up the box with a pair of scissors, and inside I see a PS5 and a game to go along with it.
"She got you something expensive, huh?" asks Dad, who is busy reading emails on his phone from his job.
I quickly take the box and bring it to my room. I find an envelope with my name on it in cursive. Inside of it, is a card with a kitty on the front, my favorite animal. I open the card, and find a note inside.
Dear Emilie,
I know that I never will be there to give your gift in person or celebrate your birthday...your grandfather may have to cross the rainbow bridge soon...I am truly sorry.
But, I've sent you this PS5 and a game along with it for your birthday. Don't worry, I got your parents' permission. I know you'd love this game if you tried it.
But I must tell you something about this game you should know before you start playing.
You might find yourself flying in space. Look for a spaceship that looks like a PS5, with a bunch of little robots inside it. Specifically, look for the captain. He might need your help with to deal with a space bully. But...this captain...he will be your friend to the end...

I look around in confusion. PS5 spaceship with little robots inside it? Captain? He will be my friend to the end? Oh, this is one of Grandma's jokes. Very funny.
I follow the instructions and within 10 minutes, my new PS5 is all set up, attached to my tv. At least I don't need any help.
I pick up the game, and take a look at the cover. Weird. A bunch of robots and a green alien on it in space. It is called

As I insert the disk, I can only see a light red from my TV screen in the sudden darkness that fills my bedroom.
The last thing I remember before passing out is seeing a digital blue pair of eyes...
