Ice vs Phantom Round 1

Start from the beginning

Elderich: “I’m someone you’ll regret crossing.”

Sonic, taking advantage of Infinite’s momentary distraction, rushed in with his usual speed. He threw a rapid barrage of spin dashes and homing attacks, but Infinite countered with his chaotic force, blocking the strikes and sending Sonic flying backward with a wave of dark energy.

Elderich was already on the move. He slid under Infinite’s next attack, the air growing colder around him as he used his speed to his advantage. Instead of rushing headlong into the chaos, he moved with the precision of a predator, waiting for the right opening.

Infinite hissed in annoyance as Elderich closed in, his glowing red eyes flaring with fury.

Infinite: “What is this? Another challenger?”

Elderich didn’t answer. He was already behind Infinite, using his ice-based abilities to freeze the ground beneath the villain’s feet. The slick surface caused Infinite to stumble, and it was enough for Sonic to regain his footing and launch another strike.

Silver, now freed from his struggle, gathered his psychic energy and joined the fray, sending a barrage of telekinetic blasts at Infinite, pushing him backward. The villain’s chaotic aura flickered, his energy weakening momentarily.

But just as the tide seemed to turn, Infinite’s laughter filled the air, and his energy exploded outward in a violent wave. The jungle trees around them groaned as the dark power shattered the frozen ground and knocked everyone back.

Infinite: “You fools still don’t understand. You’re all just pawns in my game!”

Elderich slammed into a nearby rock, his body aching from the impact, but he quickly recovered, rising to his feet. His eyes locked onto Infinite’s form, his mind calculating his next move. It would take more than speed and brute strength to defeat this foe.

Elderich’s voice was low, but there was no mistaking the determination in it.

Elderich: “Then let’s see how you handle someone who’s been through worse.”

He charged forward again, this time with a new intensity. He didn’t need to rely on the Negative Chaos Emeralds—yet. This fight was personal. This was a battle he would win, not for anyone else, but for himself.

Infinite snarled and summoned more energy, but before he could strike, Elderich was upon him, dodging the energy blasts with fluid grace. With one swift motion, he struck—his fists connecting with Infinite’s chaotic barrier, sending cracks of dark energy spiraling out.

The battle was far from over, but Elderich knew this was just the beginning. With Sonic, Silver, and Knuckles at his side, they would defeat Infinite. But more than that, Elderich’s presence here was a promise. The new hedgehog might have only just arrived, but he was already making his mark on this world.

The atmosphere in the Mystic Jungle was charged with chaos. Trees groaned under the strain of the battle as Elderich and Sonic relentlessly pressed their attacks on Infinite. The masked villain’s chaotic energy pulsed through the air, distorting everything it touched.

Silver had been thrown back, but his psychic power was slowly returning to him, ready for another strike. Knuckles stood vigilant, eyes darting across the battlefield, looking for any opportunity to gain the upper hand. But it was clear that Infinite’s power was no joke.

Elderich’s eyes glinted with cold focus as he assessed the situation. His powers were still new, still volatile. The Negative Chaos Emeralds were locked away in the inhibitor rings on his wrists, but they were not yet needed. He wasn’t going to rely on them just yet. Instead, he’d learned to adapt quickly—already using his ice-based powers in ways that seemed second nature. Every movement he made left behind a trail of frost in the air. His body moved with grace, gliding effortlessly through the jungle as he dodged and weaved around Infinite’s onslaught of dark energy.
