"stop being mean to him, katsuki" you said getting in between the two boys. "n-no! i will fight kacchan!" izuku said. "izuku, you're being dumb. he'll hurt you" you said. "i wont let you hurt him" you said turning to katsuki.
"get away from me, shitty girl" katsuki pushed you to your side, making you tumble and scratching your knee. "are you okay, y/n chan?!" izuku rushed to you and checked on you. you held up your knee to yourself while sitting on the muddy ground. "im fine.." you replied with small dots of blood exuding out of your knee, while tears filled your eyes.
"y-you're bleeding!" izuku panicked. "pft. you're weak" katsuki said. "i- i wont forgive you for hurting her kacchan!" izuku stood in front of you and put up his hands in fists in front of him.
and the inevitable happened. a fight broke out between the two boys, where obviously the quirk bearer had won. "stop!" you weakly managed to get up and break the fight between the two.
"i dont want my friends to fight!" you said wiping your tears. "i am not your friend! i dont befriend weaklings and quirkless idiots!" katsuki yelled and left. "are you okay? izuku?" you asked, holding him by his shoulders. he slightly nodded with tears in his eyes as he touched his cheek.
you looked at him and he was now covered in dust and the by-products of the explosions of your other friend.
"i'll take you home, lets go" you said and followed him to his house and then went your way since his house came in the way of yours.
a year ago, you moved to the neighborhood. your mom met mitsuki, and through mitsuki-inko and became friends with them. that meant you, katsuki and izuku would get to meet a lot.
now you all were 5 years old, katsuki having an amazing quirk, belittled you both and made fun of you both. taking his teasing lightly, you always tried to befriend him but he pushed you always. no matter what, he just didnt want to be your friend.
he didnt want to be your friend, firstly because you were quirkless like izuku. if you werent a girl, he would probably get into gruesome fights with you too and beat you up like he does to izuku.
so thats how your childhood went. trying to befriend katsuki bakugo, and breaking fights between the two boys you considered your friends.
. . . that was until you hit puberty.
it was more like puberty hit you at the mere age of 11 and made you realize that the rude and arrogant boy wasnt worth the time, effort and energy.
you didnt want to be his friend. you didnt want to befriend him.
and you began hating his guts the way he hated yours and izuku's.
your newfound hate for him fired up his hate for you in his heart. if she hates me, i'm gonna hate her more. so he did one thing that pissed you off the most. torment your bestfriend, izuku.
