Laura smiles as New York comes into view. She's here. She's going to be with him 4 hours. It's currently 5pm she is going to get a taxi straight to the venue once she changes of course as she is currently in sweatpants. They are playing at the Rooftop Pier 17 again.  She smiles realising it's been 11 years since the first time she surprised him in New York back in 2014. 

She lands finally and texts Riker to let him know she's on the way to the venue.  

18.30 Laura Marano 

On my way to the venue now, just got in a Taxi from JFK. But you know with NYC traffic who knows how long I'll be. I'll text Vanni when I'm there. Have a great show!  x 

18.40 Riker Lynch 

Awesome! Can't wait to surprise him, see ya soon dude and thanks! x 

She smiles at his text and decides to text her Lynch.

That's ok I know you've had press back in Cali, thanks babe, call tomorrow x 

She smiles at his text knowing he's not suspecting her at all. Although he seems sad about her not there and she then feels bad about lying, but it will be worth it. Hopefully. God she's nervous. 

Finally she arrives at the venue. 

She texts Ryland who comes to find her and gives her the VIP badge. He only just found out she was going. She didn't make it before the start of the show but got there during Afterglow/ Natural which were the first songs so she hasn't missed much at all. 

Riker of course spots her first up in the lighting booth with Ryland. He smiles at her and she waves back. 

Her Lynch still hasn't noticed her. To engrossed in his dancing and music. Fuck, his dancing turns her on. Or maybe just him generally. 

The show is going awesome, he loves performing at this venue. He loves New York, after all this city will always remind him of her. He runs his hand through his hair as he adjusts his microphone. 

He's singing When You Need A Man, when he finally spots her. She's here? He looks over to Riker and points her direction. He nods and smiles at him. He smiles widely. 

"When you need A Man'' he sings into the microphone flexing of his muscles. She chuckles at him but blows him a kiss. He grins. Rocky notices her and smiles back as she waves wildly. 

She laughs and dances along as he continue to points at her multiple times. 

"Ok so this next song is dedicated to the most beautiful girl in the crowd tonight, my girlfriend Laura Marano, this is for you baby, thank you for coming out here and surprising me, I love you''  He smiles at her and points in her direction again. 

She blushes as she's called out. Shit they are still a fake couple for fans. Since being with him, she's forgotten about that. Wait he said he loves her? She knows they've said I'd burn for you as their own I love you. He was probably doing it more since they're a couple to the fans. She blushes anyway. This boy. 

"Thanks for coming out tonight, safe journey home!" He says into the microphone as the music dies down. 

She is already backstage waiting for him.
