Saving Arceus

Serena's POV

"If you're staying then we're staying," Green declares. The wind blowing by us moves her brown hair gently. 

"Yea we're not in a rush or anything," Gold jokes.

"Come on we can stay," She argues.

"No it's alright guys," Ash says and his shoulder rubs against mine while we stand on the Pokemon Center deck. "We'll catch up."

The two trainers don't seem convinced.

"Don't worry," I smile. "We'll meet you in the next City."

"Okay," The brunette gives a small smile. "Let's go Gold."

"You two stay out of trouble," The boy winks.

"You too," I laugh.

Ash and I watch them disappear across a long rope bridge that leads into a forest. "So rematch time?" I question the raven haired trainer.

"I don't know," He sighs and sits down at the edge of the deck. 

I join him, admiring the beautiful ocean ahead of us. I hold my hair back so the wind stops blowing it in my face. "What's going on?" I try to get him to look at me but he continues facing the water.

He stares endlessly.

Then he laughs.

Now I'm concerned.

"Sorry Serena," He looks at me with those auburn eyes. "I guess it's been awhile since I've lost."

He scratches the back of his head and I giggle.

"Yes you can still lose Ash," I roll my eyes. 

"These battles are tough," The trainer smiles. "I have to train differently and all my Pokemon need to get stronger."

He pumps his fist and that fiery Ash spirit is back. 

"Let's go train then!" I cheer and get up.

"Wait," He gets up and grabs my hand. "I have another idea."

Ash leads us through Wimpod Cove, climbing from rope bridge to rope bridge. Eventually we get to a nice wooden home built into the cliffside.

"Wimpod Cove's Finest Cloth and Yarn," I read. 

Ash just smiles and holds open the door.

"Oh my," I gasp and admire all the clothing.

I run my hand through the racks of dresses, blouses, and all sorts of clothing. "Ash!" I run up to him. "You knew this was here?"

"I asked around," He says, turning to hide his reddening cheeks. "This is actually the first step of my training plan."

I raise an eyebrow and a lady walks over. "Welcome," The brunette gives a friendly smile. "You're here for the tailoring class correct?"

"We are," Ash nods and lets out his bug type Pokemon.

I nearly squeal. Who gave me this replacement Ash?

Green's POV

"Stuck with just you again," Gold comments and I resist throwing him off the rope bridge.

We've left Wimpod Cove but the route still has lots of rope bridges connects pieces of forest. It follows the coast so the chilly ocean breeze passes by occasionally.

"Ha ha," I say sarcastically. "So what do you want to talk about?"

"We can't just walk in silence?" He asks pretending to frown.
