Two Worlds Collide.

Chapter 4:
Ivy's PoV:

Letting out a low grown I covered my eyes with one of my arms in an attempt to protect my eyes from the sunlight, that was shining on my face, suddenly I realised that not only was my mouth extremely dry, like the desert since I had sand in my mouth, however I could hear birds above me and not just any birds, seagulls, realising that I wasn't in my bed back at Alfea, I sit up so fast that I made myself dizzy.

I look around as my anxiety started to peak at the realisation that I was still on Mako island, what was I still doing here? I asked myself as I stood up, brushing off the sand, before glancing at my watch.

"Fuck!" I yelled out loud, I looked around making sure I was alone, I thought for a moment I saw a woman swimming out in the ocean, rubbing my eyes before looking again, there was no one there, my mind must be playing tricks on me, most likely from being dehydrated or too much sun, maybe both! I needed to get back to school asap, I run back into the trees just in case there was a woman swimming out there and my mind wasn't playing tricks, once I'm a safe distance away from the beach, I open a gateway and step through it back to Alfea, I ended up right back in the same spot where I had walked through the gateway to get to Mako.

As I round the corner to walk back to school, I noted four specialists out for a morning run along with Headmaster Silva, I quickly duck back around the corner as the last thing I needed was Headmaster Silva spotting me and reporting back to Miss Dowling as not only had I stayed out past curfew, I have stayed out all night, staying out past curfew can earn someone at least a weeks detention, god knows what kind of detention I would get for staying out all night, I really didn't want to find out, I can-not risk walking through the school and getting caught.

"Think Ivy think," I said to myself when an idea hits me, poking my head back round the corner to make sure the coast is clear, I open another gateway directly to my suite, thanking the gods that I have my very own suite this year, that I no longer share with four other girls.

"Where have you been? We have been so worried about you," Lola said the moment I stepped into my bedroom, where she was waiting for me, Lola threw her arms around me, pulling me into a tight hug, I hug her back.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to worry you, I just needed sometime to myself," I tell her pulling back from our hug.

"Kim's been asking after you this morning," Lola informed me with a sour expression.

"I hope you told her to go to hell," I asked taking a glass and filling it with water, drinking it in one mouthful.

"More or less, wow you're really thirsty, you sure you're alright?" Lola asked me with a concerned look on her face.

"Yes, I'm fine, hey do you think you could grab me some breakfast, while I jump in the shower quickly?" I asked suddenly feeling hungry.

"Sure, I'd won't be long," Lola tells me before leaving me alone, I let out a heavy sigh as I allow my shoulders to drop, I had a feeling today was going to be a very long day, I pick out my clothes for the day and head into my bathroom, I turn on my shower, letting the water turn warm as I put a brush through my hair and throw it up into a messy bum before stripping off, I roll my neck in an attempt to work-out some of the knots in my neck, guess that's what happens when you spent the night sleeping on a beach, I could really go for a massage right about now, and with that thought an image of Miss Dowling giving me a massage pops into my head.

My eyes fly open at the thought, I shake my head silently not wanting to think about it, I had to really keep my distance from Miss Dowling especially with that stupid rumour going around thanks to that rich bitch Zielin, Kim is welcome to her.

Letting out another heavy sigh, I walk back over to the shower, I reach out one hand to check the waters temperature, when suddenly the second the water touched my skin, my whole body felt very strange, next thing I knew I fell flat on my face on the bathroom floor.

"The hell?" I asked touching my nose hoping it wasn't bleeding, when I saw no blood, I rolled over onto my back, leaning up onto my elbows, my eyes turned wide at seeing that I had a tail, I knew something had happened to me on Mako, I felt different this morning when I woke up on the beach, I never would have imagined that I had been transformed into a fricking mermaid.

"okay, you have a tail instead of legs, don't panic," I tell myself though I am really freaking out right now, I grabbed the towel from the towel-rack, luckily it was just in reach and I started wiping myself down, I had to get my legs back before Lola got back with my breakfast as I would have no idea how I was going to explain having a tail, within minutes I had my legs back thank the gods, the strange thing I felt clean, like I just stepped out of the shower, weird, I really needed to work-out what had happened to me last night on Mako, I would have to go back at some point today sooner rather than later.

"Hey, am back, you still in the shower?" Lola asked from the other side of the door.

"Just getting dress, I will be out in a minute," I tell her, looking towards the shower wondering how the hell I was going to turn it off without growing a tail, I hold up my hand, palm out and trying to use my magic, luckily I'm able to turn off the shower, I let out a sigh of relief.

"You had better hurry, we don't want to be late for our first class of the day," Lola tells me through the door as I grab my clothes and get dressed as quickly as possible.

"Go on without me," I tell her as we have Miss Dowling for our first lesson of the day, I pull my hair out of the messy bun brushing my hair again, only this time I put it into a ponytail, I run back into my bedroom grabbing my books for the day, I grab a slice of toast with a little scrambled egg, I eat it quickly while keeping an eye on the time.

Feeling thirsty again, I grab the glass of orange without thinking about the condensation that had formed on the glass and once again am kissing the floor, this was getting old real fast, I think as I look at my tail shaking my head, this was going to be a problem.
