Reincarnated As The Light Of Truth

It's been about a week since Blueberry Yogurt Cookie said he would plan a picnic for me to help me relax, and he also told my guards to make sure I relax as well, so I don't overexert myself.

So, that would explain why I'm currently doing my best to hide from the guards.

I had already read the book Blueberry Yogurt Cookie, and I found, and I think the only reason I was looking for a way to understand how I got reincarnated is because my mind fully couldn't accept it just yet.

And now my mind has fully accepted that I have become a cookie in a game I played, taking Pure Vanilla's Cookie place as the ruler of the Vanilla Kingdom.

The book wasn't helpful. It was just a classic isekai story where the male lead and female lead fall in love no matter what, and it was a really good book.

In my past life, all I would be reading would be mangas about a normal person dying and then waking up in the world of the manga they read.

And this is exactly my current situation.

Now, what do I plan to do today while I continue to wait for Blueberry Yogurt Cookie to surprise me with his relaxing picnic.

"Hmm." I walked onto my balcony, looking at the garden bellow me. "Maybe a nice walk through the royal garden would be nice."

I took a step outside of my room, turning to the guards, guarding it. "I'm going to take a walk through the royal gardens. Please do not follow me this time."

"Yes, your majesty." They both saluted.

I hummed a little tune as I walked through the gardens, admiring each and every one of the flowers.

Whatever or whoever allowed me to be reincarnated into this world, I'm forever grateful for it.

In my past life, it was lonely, especially if I used to work at a cash register. Dealing with the drama people brought was just as tiring as that job.

I kneeled in front of a bush of moonflowers, picking one and holding it in my hand.

"I hope you're relaxing, my queen." I heard a familiar voice behind me.

I turned around to see Blueberry Yogurt Cookie. "Oh, I am. I'm just taking a walk through the garden. Trust me, my guards have been making sure all week."

He chuckles, grabbing the moonflower from my hand, and paces it in my hair. "Excellent, now, I have a special picnic planned just for you, so let's get to it."

It didn't take long for Blueberry Yogurt Cookie to lead me to a spot in the garden I hadn't explored yet.

It was a nice little area. There was a tree to rest under, surrounded by a stream with blueberry birds playing and taking a bath in it, and a beautiful blue and white bridge with golden accents to walk over.

Right under the tree was a picnic blanket with a picnic basket already waiting.

"This place is beautiful." I looked at the set-up in awe.

"This is your garden, haven't you seen this already?" Blueberry Yogurt Cookie asked me.

"Uh, yeah, what I meant to say was that this place gets more beautiful every time I see it." I rubbed the back of my head nervously.

"Huh, I guess you're right." He hooked his arm around mine, leading me to the picnic blanket. "Come on, I've prepared a nice spread for us."

Once we sat down on the picnic blanket, Blueberry Yogurt Cookie opened the picnic basket.

"Wait, where's the stuff?" He looked into an empty basket.

"Is something wrong, Blueberry?" I asked him. "It's fine if it's empty.:

"Oh, no, I've spent way too much time preparing this." He took out a cloth, laying it over the basket. "Now, on the count of three, this basketball be filled with delicious goodies."

"One... two... three!" He jerked the blanket off of the basket, revealing the once empty basket now filled with food. "Tada!"

"Ooo." I clapped my hands in amazement. "Amazing performance. Not only can you crack a joke, but you can do interesting tricks."

"Not only am I a librarian, I'm also a jokester and a magician." He gave a little bow before pulling out the food.

He handed me and himself a blueberry cheesecake.

"This looks delicious." I took a fork and ate a bite. "It tastes delicious, too. Did you make this?"

"Why, yes, I did." He said proudly. "My own special recipe. For my eyes only."

"That's fine, I'm just happy that I get to try this delicacy you made." I took another bite, smiling at him.

Blueberry Yogurt Cookie pressed a hand to his chest. "It warms my dough to see you smile and enjoy yourself, Y/n."

"Finally starting to use my name, I see." I ate the rest of my blueberry cheesecake.

Blueberry Yogurt Cookie chuckled. "Well, you insisted, and how could I ignore a request from the Vanilla Kingdom's kind-hearted ruler."

I chuckled alongside him. "Well, you insisted on me calling you Blueberry, so why not go ahead and do it?"

Me and him both started laughing with each other.

"Hey, guess what? Why was the jelly bear accused of killing a poor sugar gnome at the comedy club?" He asked me.

"I don't know, what?" I shrugged.

"Because the joke the jelly bear made made the suagr gnome laugh so hard, he melted, and everyone blamed him." Blueberry Yogurt Cookie says.

"Haha, that was a good one. It was a little dark, but I still found it funny." I laughed.

"I'm glad you liked. Now, let's enjoy the test of this picnic." He says.

Once the sun was setting, Blueberry Yogurt Cookie and I moved inside into the drawing room where we were chatting and having tea.

I yawned, feeling my eyes droop when I fell asleep on the loveseat.

I saw her fall asleep on the loveseat after a long day.

So, I got up, grabbed a blanket, and draped it over her.

I ran a hand through her soft pastel yellow and sweet hair. "Rest well, dear. We'll be seeing each other a lot more from now on."

A/n-In the next chapter, we'll have a few months' time-skip. In the next chapter, "Blueberry Yogurt Cookie" will be helping dear Y/n Cookie find decorations, and help plan for the Vanilla Kingdom's anniversary. Feel free to suggest what else they could do.

And one more thing, I just wanted to say thank you all for the positive responses, because I was a little nervous cause this was my first Cookie Run Kingdom fanfic.
