Y/n's P.O.V
After leaving the village, we had to fight our way through a lot of wafflebots.
Thankfully, we were able to make it past all of them.
"We made it past all those wafflebots. You cookies know your way in a fight." Black Raisin Cookie complimented Gingerbrave and his friends.
"Yes, you cookies did a good job, but you two!" I put my hands on my hips, turning to the both of my boys. "I thought I told you two to stay back at the village."
"It was Vanilla Bean Cookie's idea." Blue Vanilla Cookie pointed to his brother. "I just went along with it.:
"Yeah, it my idea." Vanilla Bean shool his head yes, not denying.
I sighed, shaking my head, disapproving of it. "Fine, you two can come with us, but the minute there is danger, you boys stay out of the way and hide, got it?"
"Got it, Mama." They did a salute toward me.
"Aw, you're making me blush." Gingerbrave chuckles. "Well, we couldn't have done it without you! He he!"
A minute or so later, we arrived at the raisin cliffs.
"These are the raisin cliffs, my friends. This is where the sky opens." I told everyone.
"Then... that gigantic shadow must be..." Wizard Cookie pointed up ar the huge structure in the sky.
"A castle...! In the sky...!" Strawberry Cookie said in fright.
"Er... I'm not seeing things, am I? How is a CASTLE floating in the sky?!" Chili Pepper Cookie said in disbelief.
"It's GIGANTIC!" Wizard Cookie said. "That must be the Vanilla Kingdom. It had to be!"
"It's here..." I gasped after not seeing my home for a long time. "We must make haste!"
As we walked closer to the cliff, the ground started glowing with each step we took.
"Huh? Mama, look!" Blue Vanilla Cookie said, pouting at my feet.
"The ground is glowing with each step you take." Vanilla Bean Cookie said.
"It has to do something with the gemstone from earlier. The closer we get to the castle, the warmer my staff gets." I gripped my staff.
"Oh, I think I understand now!" Wizard Cookie got our attention. "That gem has unlocked a portal!"
All of a sudden, columns of light appeared.
"Look, columns of pure light have appeared." Black Raisin Cookie pointed out. "Everyone ready? Grab the cookie next to you, and don't let go!"
I immediately picked up my boys, holding on to them. "You boys hold on tight."
The boys both nodded, gripping on to me.
Gingerbrave laughs nervously. "I'm ready as can be. This is it, guys!"
"I'm not scared." Wizard Cookie told us. "After all, this is magic from the Vanilla Kingdom!"
"Ha ha!" Chili Pepper Cookie laughs. "Where there's treasure, there's ME! LET'S GO!"
"I cam hear the fanfare already! Hold on, Vanilla Kingdom! Your king is coming!" Custard Cookie III said excitedly.
Suddenly, a villager cookie approached Black Raisin Cookie.
"Wait! Black Raisin Cookie!" The villager cookie gave her some jellies. "Take this! It's not much, but it's a lil' somethin' for the road..."
"We've been saving some jellies every day." Another villager cookie spoke.
Black Raisin frowns. "How did-- When did-- But there wasn't enough food to begin with... I... I don't know what to say. Thank you. I will do everything to return peace to our village!"
