After 79,155 words, 20 chapters, and half a year... The Only Rule is finally finished!!! 🎉✨ Sempet sebulan vakum karena stuck, sangking sedihnya writing the climax chapter sampai udah gabisa lanjutin lagi 😭, but thank God after that 'short break', I finally found my spark back.
At first, I literally had no idea how to salvage this old story of mine—seriously, I was ready to just let it go. But then, a random music party session somehow clicked all the chords in my brain, and voilà! The magic happened. Plus, Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler in The Ugly Truth gave me all the pointers I needed, and everything started falling into place.
Honestly, my 20-year-old self would never believe that I'd find a passion like this. It still surprises me every day how strong and consuming this feeling is—it's like the best kind of madness. And you know that feeling when you find something better than the sentence or part you originally referenced? The kind of moment that just makes your heart leap? 🥹 I'd never trade that for anything in the world.
This second baby of mine will definitely go down in the records—at least in my records 😂. This is my masterpiece, and I'm endlessly grateful for everything this story has done for me. It's changed the way I think, the way I create, and the way I see life.
