"An Odd Reoccurrence"

"How are you here, Katrina?" Charles asked, wheeling himself nearer her.
Several minutes had passed, and nobody said a word.
Katrina could think of many a answer to that question. "I survived." But that is what she settled on. The woman didn't take her eyes from the man sleeping on the altar.
"You survived this whole time by yourself?" Erik stood in the doorway. Now, both of the men had their eyes locked on their old friend.
The red head mutant held her necklace, the iceman - Bobby - stood behind her and watched as she opened her locket. The silver cover revealed a young girl - who couldn't have been older than twelve - standing beside a bald woman with a smile. "I wasn't alone. Not the whole time. I had this woman," she undid the locket from her neck, showing Xavier the picture. "Alexandria Grant. I saved her too many times to count. But, when the time came, she repaid the debt." Kat traced the long, horrid scar on her cheek.
"The Sentails?" Magneto questioned, and Fate hummed in response, looking at the old men with soft eyes.
"This girl, this is Charlotte." Katrinas heart clenched as Charles spoke that name. He held the locket in his hand, just about the hand it back to the girl, but she curled his fingers into his palm, making him hold.
"Yes, she made it to you?" The Professor nodded. "Good." Her voice wavered and cracked. "Good. I always warned them," she paused, tears dropped from her dark eyes. "Warned them if something happened to me. To go straight to you, I know you would help her." Katrina couldn't look at anyone, and her eyes gradually began looking at the timetraveling mutants.
"Charlotte Pandev was one of my best students." The Professor praised the girl, Boddy popped up at that name.
"Charlotte Pandev? You mean-"
"Professor Charlotte, yes. Katrina raised her."
"Professor? She became a professor?" The redhead was in awe of the woman she raised, her heart beating strongly.
Bobby took in the information in front of him and connected the dots. The woman in front of him raised Charlotte. "Lottie was my favourite teacher." The woman's eyes landed on the man.
