"I think you can all guess which way I'll be voting." Allison said.
Five and Raven were standing next to each other, leaning against one of the pillars in the lobby of the hotel. Their hands were intwined and ever so often one of the teens would squeeze the others hand for comfort.
"We've all been through a lot. We've all lost people." Allison looked at Five hesitantly. "Mannequins... But their deaths have to mean something. Which is why I'll be voting to go with dad."
Raven gulped. Her sister had a point. The deaths have to mean something. She left people behind to save the world. If she doesn't try and save the world now... it was all for nothing.
Lila walked past Diego and said something to him. "What she said. Let's go save the bloody universe!"
"Whoo-hoo!" Klaus cheered, obviously being on Reginald's side.
"All right, well, since she said yes, I vote stay." Diego said, making Lila scoff. "How's that for nice?"
"You're not being serious." Lila said. Diego didn't reply.
"It's his vote, Lila." Allison said. "Klaus?"
"I am with father."
"Okay, that's four to one. Viktor?"
Viktor sighed before answering. "Look, I wanna believe, okay? I really do. I just can't shake the feeling we don't know what we're getting ourselves into."
"No, but we do know what we've got if we don't." Allison said as she crossed her arms. "We have to go into this together. Viktor. A family."
Viktor rolled his head back annoyed. "You can't just keep throwing the word 'family' around. It isn't enough. I vote stay."
Allison blinked away her tears. "Luther?"
Luther looked up from his wife, but still holding unto her. "Uhm, Sloane and I talked, and, well, we're out. Look, we wanna spend whatevertime we have left together, and not fighting some guy with a sword and ringing bells and stuff. So..."
"Well, dead even. Four in, four out." Viktor concluded.
"That leaves you, Number Five and Raven." Reginald said as he looked at them.
Five gave Raven's hand one last squeeze before letting go and putting his hands in his pockets. "I saw the future, and it told me to sit this one out. We vote stay. It's time we accept our fate."
Raven gulped dryly, making the siblings turn to her. "I want to go." She said softly.
Five furrowed his brows and clenched his jaw. "What?"
"I said I want to go. No, I don't fully trust dad, but like Allison said, we know what we get ourselves into if we stay and do nothing. I want to at least try to save the world. I can't die knowing I did nothing. I'm sorry, Five." She looked down to the floor as she walked over to her father.
Lila placed an arm around her shoulder, comforting the girl.
Five looked at Raven in disbelief. He just told her that he trusted her to make the right decision and now this?
"Still even." Viktor said.
Ben looked at his dad. "We can go in there, just the five of us."
"That would mean certain failure. There must be seven." Reginald said. "children, I can't say I'm happy with this. But I see now the blame falls on me. I failed you when you were young, and I have failed you now. And in doing so, I have doomed the entire universe. If anyone needs me, I'll be in the courtyard... awaiting the end." He said before walking away.
