I woke up the next day, the wound fully healed on my head and it's almost noon. It was quiet, I couldn't hear Mitto's meowing from the living room. I quickly got up and went to the bathroom to wash my face.Did Keito really move next to me?
I could hear from the bathroom all the commotions outside. I wiped my face and quickly went to my front yard to check. There he was, moving his things like it's some hotel. I ignored it and grabbed the hose attached to faucet which I switched on to water my plants.
As I was watering my plants, I couldn't help but take glances at him. When he suddenly met my gaze, he waved at me and I just bowed my head gently with a forced smile. I quickly looked away, feeling embarrassed and continued watering my plants.
Moments later, I could hear some footsteps from behind.
"Goodmorning Haruto!" He said. I turned around to see him laying his face on my brick wall, with a playful smile on his face.
"G-goodmorning, I thought you were joking." I replied with my embarrassed voice.
"Ofcourse I wasn't joking." He replied. "Oh by the way, have you eaten yet?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.
I shook my head, still watering my plants. "I haven't, I just woke up." I replied.
He walked around to the direction of my gate. "Then... you wanna come over?" He asked, stopping in front of it. "Can I come in?" He asked.
I nodded with a chuckle, and he got in. "It's fine, I can cook on my own." I reassured him.
I quickly turned off the faucet and laid down the hose. "How about I bring food, and you cook it here for us?" He suggested.
I quickly thought it through, realizing there was nothing wrong with what he said, so I nodded my head in response.
"Okay then, I'll be back!" He said before running off. I followed his direction and I somehow feel a little bit happy that he's around, I don't know why. It's like he replaced Mitto.
I quickly got inside and I left the door open for him. Moments later, I hear him calling from outside. I went out to see him holding a bag which is filled with vegetables and other uncooked foods.
"Can I come in?" He asked.
I rolled my eyes, peeking at my door. "You don't have to ask if you can come in, just come straight here." I replied.
Then he started walking in. "I'm just trying to respect your personal space
When we were kids I keep coming close to you." He replied with a chuckle.I led him inside the kitchen and he put the bag on the table. "You're apartment, is... small." He said, trying to observe the place.
I gently kicked his leg. "Are you calling me short?" I asked.
"Sorry, I didn't mean it that way." He replied scratching the back of his head.
I rolled my eyes and went on to look at the things he brought, which was abundant. Some vegetables and meat.
What does he want me to cook? A full course meal?
"Do you want me to cook all of this?" I asked.
"If you want to, then go ahead." He said, sitting down on one of the chairs. "You can keep the rest and store them for you." He replied.
I let out an annoyed sigh. "You're being spoiled right now, just because you're rich now doesn't mean you have to waste it." I replied, grabbing the bag to the kitchen sink.
I could tell he got playfully offended there, which made me smile. "What did you say?" He asked, standing up.
He scoffed quickly went up to me and started poking my back. "Yah, repeat what you said, and say it close to my face." He demanded.
