The next day, I woke up at dawn, it was pretty much still dark at the moment. I looked through the window of my bedroom and noticed Keito's car wasn't there, but his lights are on, he probably left them opened.

I went to the bathroom and looked at myself for a moment. I brushed my teeth and went for a quick cold shower.

20 minutes later, I was getting ready with myself. After that I got out of the house and locked the doors behind me. As I was about to walk outside, I noticed the door on Keito's apartment is openly ajar. It made confused because he reassured me that he's at work at this moment, common sense that his car is not here.

Did he left it open?

I walked over into his front yard to take a peek, the lights were off, but earlier it was on. He did left the door opened. I sighed and walked over to close it. I wasl almost reaching for the door knob when I decided to go in.

I closed the door behind me and opened the lights. It was pretty clean inside, not a single mess. I could even still smell his perfume that he left.

I walked around when suddenly, I noticed the door to his room was also openly ajar.

Does he even know how doors works?

I brisk waled over to close it, I saw a shadow walked past behind the door and it made me stop at my spot and I felt a little bit scared and confused.

I reached out for the door knob when I heard a car pulling over. I turned around to the direction of the front door. When suddenly it opened.

"Haruto? What are you doing inside my apartment?" Keito asked, who is standing by the door looking confused.

"I saw you door, you left it opene so I decided to check if something has gone missing or someone tried to break in. It was clean when I got here." I explained.

He quickly went up to me, and held both of my shoulders. He spun me around trying to observe my body as if he was panicking.

"Are you okay? Did something happen to you?" He asked, his eyes darting all over my body.

I shoved his hands gently, "I didn't saw anything or anyone when I came in here.

"You also even left you room-" I stopped mid sentence, the door to his room which was opened earlier, is now closed.

I could've sworn it was open just now.

I shrugged it off, thinking it was just my imagination. "What was that?" He asked.

I quickly turned back to him, "Nothing." I said, shaking my head.

He walked to the kitchen, grabbing his phone from the counter. "I left this here. Good thing I came back and saw you here." He said.

"I'm fine." I replied rubbing my shoulder.

"Well since you're still here, let me send me send you to the Café." He offered with a smile.

I nodded. I looked back at the door, thanking I've gone crazy. I didn't mind at anymore and just went outside with him.

We headed inside the car and we took off.

"Do you always walk at this hour just to go to work?" He asked, his eyes focused on the road.

I nodded slightly. "It-It's peaceful... and quite." I said as I moved my head to the car window.

It was still dark and the stars were sparkling outside.

"It's dangerous you know, especially when it's still dark like this." He replied, sounding worried.
