"I brought it." I say as I walk into Emma's living room.

"Thank you." She says, standing up. I hand her the pregnancy test.

Emma had called me this morning in a panic. She was saying there could be a chance that she was pregnant but she didn't have any tests to see. I said i'd bring her a spare one I had.

"What makes you think you're pregnant?" I ask after she did the test.

"I'm late."

"Oh yeah, that would be sign number one." I say. Emma holds the test in her hand, her palm blocking the result.

"I'm too scared to look." She says, her free hand going over her face. I gently pull it away and hold it in mine.

"It's okay, Emma."

She nods and moved her hand away from the results.

Pregnant.

Emma burst into tears, her head falling onto my shoulder. I wrap my arms around her. "Are you happy?" I ask, softly stroking her hair.

"Yes." Emma says, pulling away from me. She smiles widely. "Our kids are gonna be friends."

"Best friends." I say.

At that moment Pedri and Gavi walk in, talking to one another. Pedri stops once he sees Emma. "Oh, Em, you okay?" He asks walking over. I get up to give them space, walking over to Gavi.

He wraps his arm around me kissing my cheek. "She okay?" He whispers to me, eyeing the both of them.

"She's pregnant." I say back. Gavi looks at me surprised before nodding.

"Oh that's nice." He says, "Blanca and Nico are gonna be really good friends with their kid." I nod and look back over to Pedri and Emma. Pedri had pulled Emma into his arms, kissing her head. "Congratulations guys."

"Hi Nico." I whisper, pulling him into my arms. "Thanks for looking after him." I say to Alejandro. He nods, holding onto Nicolás's hand.

"Anytime." He says, "I'm most definitely his favourite."

"You are." I say, "He gets all giggly around you."

"Poor Fermin is the only one who isn't a favourite uncle. I'm Nico's and Pablo is Blanca's."

"Eh it's fine he can be Emma and Pedri's kid favourite uncle." I say, softly rocking Nicolás so he'd fall asleep.

"Oh yeah I forgot Emma was pregnant." Ale says, "Well there you go we're all the favourite of someone."

"That reminds me," I say, "Where did Pablo take Blanca?" I slowly walk to Nicolás's room, Ale following behind me.

"I want to say the beach and then to get ice cream, or the other way around, either one."

I nod in reply, carefully setting Nicolás down. "Can you ask him when he's coming back?" Ale nods, pulling out his phone.

After I settle Nicolás down, I walk out his room, Ale behind me still on his phone.

"He said they'll be 10 minutes. Blanca wanted to get a smoothie as well as an ice cream." He said, putting his phone away. I shake my head disapprovingly.

"He knows she's only allowed one thing." I say, flopping down on the sofa.

"Yeah but you know Pablo can't say no to Blanca." Ale said, sitting down next to me.

"You got a point." I mumble. "Anyway wanna watch a movie or something till they get back?"

"Yeah sure."
