It had been a couple of months since me and Gavi had started trying and I was already feeling Pregnancy symptoms. I debated telling Gavi about it or just taking a test altogether.

He had gone out to pick up Blanca from school so I decided to talk to him about it after he came home. Nico was asleep in his room. He had been ill all night so I made him sleep most of the day.

I heard the front door open and Blanca's loud voice.

"Can I please go round Lucie's for a sleepover, please?" I hear her ask. I get up from the sofa and walk towards the both of them.

"I told you, you're gonna have to ask mom." Gavi said.

"Ask mom what?" I say, walking up to them. Blanca runs over to me her arms extended out. I pull her in for a hug, kissing the top of her head. "Hi Blanca, had a good day?"

She nodded her head, "Mommy can I go to Lucie's for a sleepover tonight. Her mom's okay with it." She asks.

"If her mom's okay with it, then yes of course, darling." I say, "Go and pack some things and I'll give her mom a call to finalise some things okay?"

Blanca hugs me again, "Thank you, mom." She runs down the corridor to her room.

I watch her run down the corridor. Gavi comes up behind me, his arms wrapping around me. "Hi princesa."

"Hi." I say, tilting my head to the side to look at him.

"Is Nico still asleep?" He asks. I nod my head in reply. "Has he thrown up anymore today?"

"No, thank god." I say, turning in his arms. "Um later today, when Blanca's at Lucie's, I might take a test."

Gavi's eye widen, "Already?" He asks quietly. I nod in reply.

"I've been getting symptoms." I say. He smiles gently and presses a kiss on my lips. "I have to go out to the shops to buy some though."

Gavi nods his head, "I'll take Blanca to Lucie's for her sleepover and you can go out and buy some, or I can get it for you."

"I'll get them." I say.

"Okay."

"We have to wait three minutes." I say, placing the test down in a way you couldn't see the results unless you flipped it over. I sat down next to Gavi, leaning into his side.

"I know how it works." He said, laughing. He wrapped his arm around me softly rubbing his hand up and down my side.

"Sorry, i'm just nervous." I mumble, burying my face in his shoulder.

"It's okay, amor." He says, kissing my head multiple times.

We sit in silence for three minutes, patiently waiting for the test results. My knee starts bouncing up and down anxiously. Gavi's hand move on top of it, rubbing his thumb in a soothing manner.

"You gonna look?" He whispers.

"No."

"You just gonna let it sit there?"

"Yes."

"Haley." He says gently. He tilts my head up so I was looking at him. "It's gonna be okay, alright?" I nod and lean to pick up the test. I flip it over.

Pregnant.

Tears flood in my eyes and I bury my face into Gavi's chest. He wraps his arms tightly around me. "A third kid." I mumble, pulling away to look at him.

"A third kid." He says softly, leaning down to kiss me. "How are you feeling?"

"I don't know." I admit.

"You happy?"

I pause, "Yes."

"Good."
