From the helm, Fuyuto chuckled as he adjusted the ship's wheel, keeping them steady. "I'd say that's game number four to Y/n today," he remarked, earning another wave of laughter from the crew. "Again! I will beat you this time," said Inoko, making Y/n smirk. "You're on!" he said.
Then, the two looked at Fuyune, who had a deadpan expression. "...you know...I won't create these tokens every time if you keep breaking them," she told them, but Y/n and Inoko only grinned goofily at her and put their most innocent expressions.
Seeing this, Fuyune sighed. "...you could ask Fuyuto to do it instead," she said, but Inoko shook her head. "Borororo! We could, but I doubt he is as talented as you," said Inoko. "I heard that!" came Fuyuto's immediate complaint from the helm, prompting another round of laughter.
Shaking her head with a small smile, Fuyune crafted a new set of tokens with her frost powers. "...there," she said, handing them over. "Thanks, Fuyune," Y/n said, smiling warmly. "Yeah, thanks!" Inoko added, making the mink smile before watching the two start a new game.
Amidst the light-hearted chaos, Mamoru stood near the base of the mast, sorting through her supplies. Her hands moved deftly as she counted vials and bandages, occasionally glancing up at the crew with a small, knowing smile. "They've got way too much energy," she murmured.
Shachi let out a small sigh not far from her, shaking her head at the crew's antics. "We've got the strangest bunch of pirates on the sea," she murmured with a fond smile. Then, Shachi looked at Rindo, who was flipping through her worn recipe book.
Her lips moved silently as she mumbled potential combinations for tonight's dinner. "Maybe I'll try adding some of that smoked meat we picked up back at Water 7..." she mused, glancing at the dwindling ingredients.
Still watching the intense rematch between Y/n and Inoko, Souta glanced at his log pose absently. "It had been a while since it pointed somewhere interesting," he muttered to himself. But as he did, he blinked. The needle had shifted.
His amused expression melted into focus. "Huh...talk about timing," Souta said, watching the needle shift. He tapped the log pose again to be sure, then called out across the deck, breaking the rhythm of their casual day.
"Hey, Y/n," he called. His tone made the crew quiet down slightly. He held up the log pose for them to see. "The needle's moving. Looks like we're close to an island," said Souta.
"An island, huh?" Y/n mused, scratching his chin thoughtfully, turning away from the board game. The crew quieted down, their attention now focused on Souta. "What kind of island?" Rindo asked curiously, closing her recipe book.
Souta would hum before looking at Fuyune, who nodded. "...here," she said, handing him a rolled-up map. Nodding his thanks, Souta opened it and placed the map on the deck. "If the needle's pointing there, it's likely Shadowveil Island," he revealed.
"Shadowveil Island?" Shachi repeated, humming softly. "Is there something about this place?" she asked before seeing Toshiro nod his tail, flicking behind him. "It's an infamous trading hub. Outwardly, it seems like a peaceful port town, full of exotic goods and bustling markets," he explained, making the crew look at him.
