Sans heard the voice of the Jealous Witch, and he couldn't deny that her presence was kinda intimidating due to the aura and nature of her shadow. But seeing as how Echidna hadn't done anything to protect him or herself he surmised that she is in a more 'Stable' state than she was when he took the first trial. Sans turned to face her, "Took who?" Satella bit her lip "Where's my Subaru, what have you done with him?" Satella's voice was mixed with distress and irritation as she spoke to the skeleton.

Sans kept his cool "I don't know anything about a Subaru, you're asking the wrong guy." Hearing this Satella seemed a little surprised then she turned her gaze on the woman behind Sans "Echidna, did you do this?" Her voice was laced with malice, but Echidna kept her usual nihilistic smile on her face. "I know nothing of what happened to that boy, nor do I have any Idea of where he might be." Satella groaned "Give him back to me, you don't understand how hard I tried to bring him here, and now everything...EVERYTHING, is falling apart, ever since this skeleton took his place..."

Sans then raised an eyebrow "...took his place..." he muttered then he connected the dots "Wait, so this Subaru is the person that was supposed to be here instead of me?" Satella nodded "Yes, my one and only love, the one person who treated me so kindly, we were going to be reunited in this world...but you, and your presence....have ruined everything I've worked for!" Satella covered her face with her hands, her distress growing. Sans looked at the distressed witch with confusion and turned to Echidna "How come she hasn't just devoured us yet?"

"You don't know? The 'Witch of Envy' and 'Satella' are not one in the same." Echidna raised a finger as she explained, leaving Sans more confused "What's that supposed to mean?" Echidna set down her cup of tea "To put it simply, she has two split personalities that formed when she took in the envy witch factor. She was once a normal half elf until she took it in and became The 'Witch of Envy' the one that devoured the world, the girl you're seeing right now is the normal girl she once was, 'Satella'. Hearing this Sans felt a little bad, someone who fell under power that they couldn't control, a classic tragedy.

"Satella."

Sans called out to her, the girl snapped out of her thought and turned her gaze to Sans "Yes?" Sans tilted his head "What exactly did Subaru do for you?" hearing Sans Satella practically started to beam, like she wasn't just stressing a second ago. "My Subaru helped me at a time when I felt worthless and no one liked me, he said he loved me and gave hugs and kisses....ah, what'd give to feel his touch again..." Sans nodded along and began to sympathize "I see, you love him a lot don't you?"

"Yes! More than anyone in the entire world, more than anyone in the universe. He's the one and only person I could ever love." Satella put her hands on her cheeks seemingly trying to calm herself down. "But not only that, his existence ensures a future where everyone can be saved and everyone can be happy, and he'll be the one...To kill me."

Echidna sighed as she heard Satella drag on about Subaru and Sans put a hand up "I see, and you'd give anything to be with him?"

"Yes, anything, anything to make sure this wasn't all for nothing.."

Sans began to think as he heard this, if I can find a way to get this Subaru guy back and fix everything...but how could I do that? Wait, there is one way... "Satella, I think there might be a way to bring Subaru and bring me back at the same time."

"Huh? Wait...you're serious?"

Satella clasped her hands together and looked at Sans and he nodded "I've never done it before but, since all the six souls exist in this world now, If I collect all of them, I could attempt a [REWRITE] of this world, and undo everything." Hearing this, tears started to flow down Satella's face "You, can actually do that?" she said through a stifled sob. "Yes, I never really felt like I belonged in this world, and honestly I'm starting to really miss the underground....So If there's a chance I can go back and undo all the damage that I have caused, then I'll do it." Sans then reached his hand out to Satella "If we help each other, then we can get everything back easy peasy lemon squeezy. All I need is your cooperation, with your strength and mine, we can do this.."
