Not A Normal Pairing

Gai carries Roz on his back and rushes back to konoha. He rushes her to the hospital .

Gai ; hang on. Roz.

Roz coughed. Her whole body was patches of purple and veins popped on her face " Gai... If I die..."

Gai ; you won't !!

Roz : my business... Sell it and ... ....

Gai ; Roz !! Roz!!!

Kakashi: what happened?

Gai : Kakashi. You're back ?

Kakashi: I heard she's poisoned.

Gai ; um. This is the fourth day. They're finding an antidote. For now , they're using Roz's recipe that slows it down.

Kakashi: damn it. What happened?

Flashback ~

They were travelling back to konoha

Gai notices her coughing " Roz. Are you ok ?"

Roz ; I think so.

Gai sees that her neck had a purple patch " what's that ?"

Roz ; poison.

Gai ; what ?! Since when ?

Roz : he offered me poisoned tea. I tasted it the moment I drank the first sip. I didn't think one sip would be so... Lethal... *Coughs*

Gai ; let's hurry up and go back.

Roz ; I'm already trying to undo the poison. It's fine.

Gai ; Roz!!

End ~

Kakashi: I see. It didn't work so you sent her back.

Gai : um. She comes back awake from time to time.

Kakashi: told her father yet ?

Gai ; no. We're lying to him that the trip is taking a bit longer.

Kakashi goes into the room. Roz was starting to get awake. He goes to her " Roz... "

Roz ; Kakashi... If I die... You will miss me right ?

Kakashi: you won't die.

Roz : *coughs coughs* sell my business... Donate it to the village...   And... As my friend... Can you come visit my grave ? Put flowers. So I don't look lonely.

He strokes her hair " you won't die. Ok ?"

Roz ; you're so nice.

Gai : what did she say ?

Kakashi: asked me to visit her grave... Sell her business...

Gai ; that's what she told me too. Said she didn't want to feel lonely. Thanked me for bringing her back so she could at least be buried at home.

Both of them clenched their fist.

Kakashi: I'm going. To find the one that did this to her.

Gai ; I'll go with you.

Hiruzen approaches the both of them " Roz is both of your friend neh. "

" Sandaime. " Both of them greeted.

Hiruzen : I can't bear to watch Roz go on like that. Go find out what happened.

Kakashi : both of us ?

Hiruzen: go quickly and come back quickly. I want Roz get cured.

"Hai." The both of them answered

Both of them reached said village where Roz had gotten poisoned.

Kakashi and Gai both infiltrated the merchant's place easily. This merchant was a man who lived in a big mansion that married several wives. He had just exited on of his wife's room and he was walking down to the corridor towards a big door. He enters through the big door ...

Suddenly the door closes behind him. He turns around and sees kakashi and Gai " that clothes.... Ninjas?"

Gai: hai. Magi-san

Magi: I recognise you.You are with Crosse. I see, came for revenge? Isn't that not allowed unless you are paid to? Crosse should be bedridden by now.  I heard his father is on a wheelchair, I think I spared her that suffering

“ gasp" Magi feels a kunai by his neck, kakashi was holding onto it

Magi: she didn't send you.

Kakashi: she is our friend. We want the antidote.

Magi: do you know what is behind you? Go on, switch on the lights.

Gai flicks the switch on and it revealed hundreds of boxes.

Magi: take a look. Open the boxes

Gai takes a closer look. The box labels say medicine, but as Gai opens it, it showed weapons.

Kakashi : what are they ?

Gai : weapons.

Magi : see. Not a goody nicey merchant. You don't have to take this personally. Just things merchants do to each other. One day or another I or her will get it. That's how her father got on the wheelchair.

A punch comes across magi's cheek. He collapsed to the side and he spits out blood. Kakashi stared hard to Magi " she may not be a goody nicey merchant. But she's good enough to not let others die. " He squatted next to Magi and grabbed his throat.

Gai: kakashi.

Kakashi exerts strength " good enough not to get Gai to threaten you to give her the antidote because Gai isn't that sort. " Magi starts to scratch on kakashi's grip

Gai: kakashi !! Enough !!

Kakashi lets go and Magi gasps for air. He look to Magi with cold eyes " antidote."

Magi: I don't... have... It. Gasps. I bought it off this apothecary...
