The battlefield was a storm of flashing lights and deafening roars. Spells clashed midair, sending shockwaves through the ground, while Asta’s sword cut through the enemy’s magic like it was nothing. But despite the danger surrounding you, your mind kept slipping back to him.

Asta, standing strong, unwavering. Asta, always protecting you. Asta, who had looked at you moments before the battle started as if you were the only thing that mattered.

Your heart pounded—not from fear, but from something much deeper.

“Stay with me!” Asta called over the noise, glancing back at you. His golden eyes burned with intensity, filled with both determination and something softer… something meant only for you.

“I’m not leaving your side!” you shot back, dodging an incoming attack.

He grinned, but there was worry laced in his expression. “That’s what I’m afraid of.”

Suddenly, a powerful blast of magic tore through the air, separating you from him. Dust and debris clouded your vision, and panic gripped your chest.

“Asta!” you cried out, searching for him.

Through the thick smoke, you felt a strong arm wrap around you, pulling you against a firm chest. Warmth enveloped you, and a familiar scent—Asta’s scent—filled your senses.

“I got you,” he whispered, voice rough but soothing.

Your hands clutched his cloak as you buried your face against him. “I thought—”

“I’d never let anything happen to you,” he interrupted, his grip tightening protectively. His voice was low, intimate, just for you.

For a moment, the battle faded into the background. The shouting, the explosions, the chaos—it was all a blur. All that remained was the steady beat of Asta’s heart against yours, the way his arms held you like you were the most precious thing in the world.

You pulled back just enough to look into his eyes. The golden warmth in them melted every fear inside you.

“Asta…” you breathed, unsure of what to say.

His gaze flickered to your lips for just a second before locking onto your eyes again. His grip on you softened, fingers brushing gently against your waist. “We’ll talk after this,” he murmured, a promise in his voice. “But right now, let’s finish this together.”

You nodded, a new kind of fire burning in your chest. Not just for the fight—but for him.

With Asta by your side, you felt unstoppable.
