Warning: Murder

When Jack woke up again, he didn't feel any pain.

It was strange to the boy, just a few moments ago he was drowning in clay. Mommy, daddy, and other people were reaching for him, and he tried to reach back. But the weight of the clay was too much for Jack to get out of. It pulled him down harder than he could flail up for air, and eventually his body sunk down, exhaustion taking over.

Now though, he was in a strange blue void. Jack saw two figures, their bodies looked human but each of them were only one color, orange and red, respectively. Jack was scared seeing these people and stumbled back, looking left and right frantically for his parents. Then Jack looked down at his hands, and fell on the ground in shock. His hands were completely yellow. Why were they yellow?

"W-What's going on?! Where am I?!" Jack cried.

The orange person approached Jack and crouched on his knees. The red person stood where he was but watched.

"Hey pal, I know this is scary but you don't have to deal with this alone." The orange person comforted gently.

The orange person offered his hand to Jack. Jack was still scared and confused but the orange person was nice so he took it. The orange person helped Jack up and wiped the tears on Jack's face, though more were coming out.

"I don't recognize his voice...is he even from Playcare?" The red person said in a low, intimidating voice.

"I want mommy and daddy...do you know where they are?" Jack asked the orange person.

As soon as Jack mentioned his parents, the red person scowled and walked away. Jack didn't understand why, but the red person seemed like a meanie. The orange person looked at Jack with a sorrowful expression.

"Oh, pal..."

He wrapped his arms around Jack and pulled Jack into a hug. Jack hugged back, trembling a bit.

"I'm so sorry but your mom and dad aren't here..."

"T-Then where are they? Where are we?" Jack sniffled, clutching onto the orange person.

"I- I don't know but we'll figure it out. I'll figure it all out, I promise." The orange person said, softly brushing Jack's back.

Jack cried into Matthew for how long before getting tired. The orange person laid Jack on the ground, still holding him.

"I'm Matthew." The orange person introduced.

"My name's Jack..." Jack replied.

"That's a lovely name." Matthew cooed lightly.

Jack smiled.

"I like you Matthew, your nice. I don't like that red person though." Jack remarked.

"Kevin? Aw, don't be too hard on him, he's not a bad kid... he's just scared as well." Matthew assured.

"Okay..." Jack said, not fully believing Matthew. That kid just seemed too mean.

...

"Sir, ma'am. I ask that you remain calm whenever you interact with the... patient."

It's been a few days since Jack was in the blue void. He, Matthew, and Kevin were informed by scientists that they were now Doey the Doughman. It was hard for all of them to take in. Matthew was usually the one in control of Doey, as Kevin was too angry and Jack was too sad to take the reigns.

They were all now in a room. The scientists said they'll be expecting a guest but didn't say who. All they could do was wait. After some time, the doors opened. Two people walked into the room as the door shut behind them.

"Jack?" The woman asked, stepping closer to Doey.

Matthew, the one in control looked at her.

"Jack, I... I want you to know... I'm so, SO sorry. I've never forgiven myself for what happened. I've played it all back a million times in my head, and I know, I KNOW there had to be... SOMETHING I could have done. I could've reached just a little further. I could've noticed a little sooner. I could've-... But we have you back now. That's what's important. We can-"

The woman's words confused Matthew a lot. Who was she, did he know her?

"Who are you?" Matthew asked.

"Jack? Honey, it's me. It's mommy."

Jack's soul perked up immediately after hearing the word mommy. Someone else did too.

"M-Mommy?" Jack murmured, his voice weak but happy seeing her.

"Yes. Yes! It's mommy and daddy. You remember, don't you?" The woman exclaimed.

The more the woman spoke, the angrier Kevin felt. Mommy... daddy.... Kevin ran up to Jack and shoved him, taking control of Doey.

"Leave. Me. Alone." Kevin grumbled.

"Hey. Hey, you'll be okay, I promise. Mommy's only here to talk."

"No, no I don't want to talk. Get out!!" Kevin yelled.

Jack shook Kevin, trying to get back control and asking him to let him talk to his parents. Matthew tried reasoning with Kevin that these were Jack's parents, that they don't want to hurt anyone.

"Susan, I think we should leave..." The man whispered.

"Jackie, I'm staying right here. I'm not leaving you. Not ever again, do you hear me?"

"The gentle voices lie! I know what they do! They lie... and they poke... and they hurt!" Kevin shouted, stomping on the ground to emphasize his words.

"Susan, Susan get away from it!" The man urged.

"J-Jack?" The mother stared in horror as Doey growled and twisted his head from side to side.

"Mommy won't lie to you, Jackie. Mommy won't hurt you. I'd NEVER hurt you."

LIAR LIAR LIAR!

Kevin saw red.

"Hey... Hey! Open this door!" The father demanded, banging on the door.

Doey spasmed more, getting into an attacking stance before leaping onto the woman. He slammed his hand into her face, the mother didn't have time to even scream before her skull was crushed in from the impact of hundreds of pounds slamming her into the hard floor.

"Oh god, Susan!" The father murmured, tears coming to his eyes when he saw his wife's remains.

"Please! OPEN THE DOOR!! PLEASE!" The dad begged, banging faster.

Doey roared before slamming himself into the dad, leaving nothing but a giant bloodstain on the door and parts of a human.

After all the carnage he caused, Kevin stumbled out of control of Doey. Jack was crying bitterly on the ground while Matthew looked at Jack with sympathy. Jack snapped his head up at Kevin and glared, pointing at him.

"YOU! YOU KILLED MY MOMMY AND DADDY! I HATE YOU!" Jack screamed.

His yelling broke down into sobs as he slumped down even more. Matthew quickly went to Jack and cradled him.

"I- I'm..." Kevin stuttered.

Kevin saw Jack break down and Matthew consoled him. He knew that nothing he could say or do would fix this situation. He was a monster, and monsters don't deserve forgiveness.
