Requester: Me
Character: Schuey Weever (from the new seasons)

Y/n Y/l/n had never skipped a single day of school. She handed in her homework on time, answered questions in class, and was the kind of student teachers actually smiled at when they saw her name on the register. So, it made absolutely no sense to anyone, least of all her best mate, why she was dating Schuey Weever.

Schuey was the lad who showed up once a week, if that. And when he did, he was either getting sent out, winding someone up, or making some poor supply teacher wish they'd never taken the job. But somehow, despite their differences, he and Y/n just worked.

"Why do you even bother comin' in?" Schuey asked one afternoon, meeting Y/n behind the bike sheds. He was leaning against the fence, hands stuffed into his jacket pockets, looking at her with that smirk that got him out of more trouble than it should.

"Because I actually want to pass my exams," Y/n shot back, crossing her arms. "Not that you'd understand."

Schuey scoffed, tilting his head. "I understand plenty, princess. Just don't see the point in sittin' in a classroom when I could be doin' summat actually fun."

Y/n rolled her eyes, but she was smiling. "And what, exactly, is more fun than an education?"

Schuey stepped closer, his grin widening. "You, for a start."

"That's not gonna help you get a GCSE, is it?"

"Maybe not, but it's keepin' me entertained," he teased, nudging her playfully. "Come on, skive the rest of the day with me. I'll show you what you're missin'."

Y/n hesitated. It was tempting, more tempting than she'd ever admit, but she shook her head. "No way. I actually have a future to think about."

Schuey groaned, running a hand through his messy hair. "Yeah, yeah, you and your plans. You're no fun, Y/n."

"You don't seem to mind," she said smugly.

He huffed, but there was no real frustration behind it. "Yeah, well, guess I'm stuck with ya."

"Guess you are."

Schuey watched her for a moment, then sighed dramatically. "Fine. I'll go to lesson. But only 'cause you asked."

Y/n raised a sceptical eyebrow. "You actually gonna sit through the whole thing?"

"Now let's not get carried away," he said, slinging an arm around her shoulder as they walked back towards the school building. "I'll make an appearance. That's gotta count for summat, right?"

Y/n laughed, shaking her head. Schuey Weever would never change. But maybe, just maybe, she could get him to at least show up.
